Midfielder Rodrigo Fabri, a former Flamengo player, spoke on the "Resenha ESPN" program this Friday (15), about an intrigue he had with striker Romário, during his time at the club. The episode took place on a plane, after a friendly match between Rubro-Negro and Internacional, in which the two had already fallen out during the match. On the flight, Romário called Rodrigo, and made demands on the young player at the time.

"I was missing a shell, I was very young. I never imagined going through that. He called me at the back, in the middle of the flight attendants, knocked on the table and he said: "Oh, kid, here's the thing, let's make something very clear here. I'm the one in charge here at Flamengo. The boys came here to ask you to come in, you will come back, but it will have to be like this", revealed Rodrigo.

Rodrigo didn't like the short man's words and decided to retort. According to him, Romário just didn't attack him , as other teammates held the attacker back. "I started to get nervous. I said: "It doesn't have to be like this. It won't be like this. If I come back it will be my way. You don't even have the size of people", said the former midfielder.

" Boy... The short guy came at me. If it hadn't been for Clemer and Fabiano holding him back, I think Cleisson was in the middle too, the whip would have cracked inside the plane. That's what I say, he's very direct. And What was missing when I was 21 at the time? Trickery. I lacked experience. Maybe my meeting, my moment with Romário was at a stage that lacked a little professional maturity for me", added the former athlete.

At Flamengo, Rodrigo was unable to repeat the performances he had at Portuguesa and said goodbye to Rubro-Negro with 35 games and five goals.

Created by Flamengo and considered one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, Lucas Paquetá does not hide his love for Mais Querido. Now, the player tries to pass on this red-black passion to the next generation. Thus, the athlete appeared in a video on social media teaching his son to sing the Mengo anthem.

In images published on social media by Lucas Paquetá's wife, which were reposted by the athlete, he appears at a moment relaxing with his family and helping his son sing the Flamengo anthem, even joking: “you have to sing it all”.

SOUNDED BY FLAMENGO

It is worth remembering that Lucas Paquetá was one of the names desired by the Red and Black board in the last transfer window. The midfielder is linked to West Ham (ING), but is experiencing a turbulent situation in England. This is because the midfielder is being investigated by the English Federation (FA) for "misconduct in relation to betting" in four Premier League matches.

Thus, Mais Querido even tried to convince the English team that a change of scenery would be positive for the player. However, West Ham did not accept the values proposed by Flamengo and the negotiation did not progress.

DECISION AT LIBERTADORES

Most Querido is focused on the confrontation against Peñarol, in the Libertadores quarter-finals. Therefore, Flamengo faces the Uruguayans this Thursday (19), at 7pm, at Maracanã.
