This Tuesday (7), FlaBasquete returns to play for the quarter-finals of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), against Fortaleza. After opening the series at the Ginásio do Tijuca Tênis Clube, in Rio de Janeiro, in Last Friday, Flamengo will now go to Fortaleza's home for the second game of the quarterfinals. Favorite for the title, Mais Querido tries to defeat the club from Ceará, to continue advancing in the NBB.


For fans who don't want to miss Fortaleza x Flamengo, there will be several broadcast options. The game will be available on NBB Basquetpass, the league's paid platform, on SporTV and FlaTV+, allowing fans to watch wherever they are.

See below the dates and times of the next games between Flamengo and Fortaleza, in the knockout stages of the country's main basketball competition. It is worth remembering that the series will be decided in a best of five games, and Rubro-Negro will have control of the court in the event of a tiebreaker game, due to their best campaign in the classification phase.

At 41 years old, veteran Olivinha, one of the greatest icons of Brazilian basketball, is preparing to end his career at the end of NBB 2023/24. Last Saturday, the player made what may have been his last appearance at Tijuca Tênis Clube, where Flamengo secured an impressive 92-61 victory over Bauru, in the championship semi-final. The decisive clash is scheduled for next Tuesday, at 7:30 pm, at the Panela de Pressão gym.

Olivinha was one of the highlights of the match, not only for her performance on the court, but for the emotion that took over the gym at the end of the game. To much applause from the more than 1,500 fans present, the veteran said an emotional goodbye to the place that had seen him shine so many times. Upon leaving the court, he swore his love to Flamengo, showing gratitude and pride for his career at the club.


A HAPPY ENDING TO THEIR CAREER


"I'm very excited. O Flamengo is my life, my story. Everything I achieved I owe to this club and this wonderful fan base. I couldn't be happier for end my career here, where I have always been so well received and supported," declared Olivinha.

The match at Tijuca Tênis Clube was marked by a dominant performance from Flamengo, which gave Bauru no chance. With an elastic score of 92 to 61, the Rio team showed why they are one of the favorites for this season's title. Olivinha, who has been a key player on the team, played a crucial role once again, contributing points, rebounds and leadership on the court.

FlaBasquete put on a show at home and beat Bauru 92-61 in the first game of the best-of-five series of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) semifinal. The match took place this Saturday afternoon, at Tijuca Tênis Clube, and was marked by red and black dominance from the beginning.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS

Gabriel Jaú: He was the scorer of the match, contributing with 19 points.

Didi: He also stood out, scoring 18 points.


Maique: Contributed with 11 points.


ANALYSIS BY QUARTER

1st QUARTER: The game started balanced, with both teams studying. Flamengo opened a small lead, but Bauru reacted. However, Rubro-Negro managed to increase the difference on the scoreboard and closed the quarter at 28 to 20.

2ND QUARTER: FlaBasquete maintained the pressure in the second quarter, taking advantage of the opponent's mistakes. Gabriel Jaú and his teammates extended the advantage even further, closing the quarter at 47 to 33.

4TH QUARTER: The last quarter saw Flamengo further expand its advantage, with emphasis on Olivinha's performance. Rubro-Negro continued to score consistently and closed the game 92 to 61.
