Actress Bella Campos was confirmed in the cast of the new version of the soap opera “Vale Tudo”, where she will play Maria de Fátima , character originally played by Glória Pires. The confirmation came during the Upfront event Globo, which presents the broadcaster's news for 2025. The plot , which returns to the screen in a “remake” of the work, will also feature Taís Araújo in the role of Raquel, mother of Maria de Fátima, Regina Duarte’s character in the first version. The premiere of the new version of “Vale Tudo” is scheduled for March 2025.
As part of the celebration of TV Globo's 60th anniversary, the work will update one of the biggest titles in Brazilian television drama. Written by Gilberto Braga, Aguinaldo Silva and Leonor Bassères, the serial was originally shown in 1988 and became known for its social criticism and portrayal of corruption in Brazil.
Bella, born in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, saw her career gain momentum when she was cast by TV Globo in 2020. Despite not stepping on the court in recent weeks, João Fonseca reached another significant milestone in his career. The 18-year-old rose to 47th place in the ATP rankings , released this Monday (22). The improvement in the ranking came after Marcos Giron, from the United States, dropped 11 places.
This is the best finish of Fonseca 's career, and he continues to break records. He became the 12th Brazilian in history to enter the top 50 since the beginning of the Open Era in 1968. Oruam turned himself in to the police last Tuesday (22) after having an arrest warrant issued by the Court. Thus, this Wednesday (23), the rapper's fiancée, Fernanda Valença, spoke on her Instagram about the reaction of her father-in-law, Marcinho VP. The influencer highlighted that the singer's father "is not happy" with the indictment.
Oruam's bride talks about Marcinho VP's opinion: "Contrary to what many people think, my father-in-law is not happy about any of this news."
She continued: "He and my mother-in-law fought tirelessly throughout their lives for their children to change the family's destiny. However, this never stopped the constant psychological torments they faced over time ," she wrote in an excerpt.
