The dream of many soccer fans is to see Lionel Messi play in the Copa Libertadores. For playing in European football and now in North America, the chances of seeing the star in the continental tournament were low. However, an agreement between Conmebol and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) could change the odds.
According to information from journalist Hugo Balassone, Messi's presence in Liberta may be closer than ever. Responding to Conmebol's request, Claudio Tapia, president of the AFA, invited Inter Miami, from the United States, to participate in the 2024 Copa Libertadores da América.
In July, TNT Sports Argentina announced that Conmebol Libertadores and Concaf (Football Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean) discussed the possibility of a unified Libertadores. In this scenario, Concaf clubs could also participate in the tournament. With the invitation to Inter Miami, the unification could be a reality in 2024.

Two young talents revealed by Flamengo shone in Europe this Saturday (14). Goalkeeper Kauã Santos made his Bundesliga debut for Eintracht Frankfurt, helping the team to a 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg. Kauã entered the field after the experienced Kevin Trapp was injured at the end of the first half. Meanwhile, defender Léo Duarte scored his first goal in European football, securing Basaksehir's 1-0 victory over Bodrum in the Turkish league.
Kauã Santos, who arrived at Flamengo at the age of 16, he never played for the Rio club's main team.
