Life was not easy for Seu Jorge. In an interview with Podpah, on YouTube, the singer recalled when he lived on the street, before starting his artistic career and starting to make a living from music. “I suffered a lot,” he said. “In 1990 I decided not to work with a formal contract and that was a problem because my parents and my uncles are all from the 30s. I am the son of dark-skinned parents who are also the children of dark-skinned parents and we came from a place of blackness” , began by telling the story.
Seu Jorge continued remembering that even in a vulnerable situation, he decided to continue persisting in art: “They [the family members] were waiting for the phone to ring and someone to say 'you're under arrest'. I was living on the streets to do this.”
And he continued: “I told [the family] that I was at the theater, doing my thing, no one believed it, they thought it was nonsense, that I was hanging out with crooked people.”
The artist highlighted that he was always optimistic and believed he would win. “I suffered a lot, like hell, but with resilience and creating a shell. He had a great need for dignity. I knew music would help me restore my dignity. I always knew and that kept me calm”, he pointed out.
Seu Jorge concluded by commenting that his family ended up redeeming themselves over the years and their achievements. “A long time later, my uncle and my father asked me for forgiveness and I said: ‘it doesn’t make sense’. It's just that we didn't learn to dream. Dreaming for us was a loser and a waste of time”, he concluded.

Actress and presenter Tata Werneck explained to her followers in her Instagram stories this Saturday (18) about the exposure of the image of her daughter, Clara Maria, aged 4. She reports that she doesn't like exposing her child and that she feels disrespected when someone posts a photo of him.
“I don't really like exposing Caca. I post it sometimes, but I don't like it when they post it. I feel disrespected. Because we [me and Rafa Vitti] chose this for her. Several personalities have mobilized to help victims of the floods in Rio Grande do Sul. The PodPah podcast joined the wave of solidarity and carried out a live broadcast lasting almost six hours, this Tuesday, 7 , with the participation of famous people and the collection of donations.
