An earthquake shakes the structures of Corinthians, one of the giants of Brazilian football, with the revelation of a corruption scandal involving its master sponsorship contract. According to investigations conducted by journalist Juca Kfouri, from the "Uol" portal, the agreement with the company Vai De Bet is under serious suspicion of fraudulent activities.

The negotiation, mediated by the company Rede Social Media Design Ltda, triggered the payment of highly suspicious amounts to the São Paulo club. In a short period, Corinthians transferred R$1.4 million to the aforementioned company. However, the final destination of these funds raises serious questions about the legitimacy of the transaction.

< The amounts sent by Rede Social Media Design Ltda were later directed to the company Neoway. The problem lies in the fact that Neoway has ties to an enigmatic figure, Edna Oliveira dos Santos, whose address provided appears to be fictitious. Edna, a resident of a modest residence in Peruíbe, denied any knowledge about the business in her name.

Everything indicates that Edna was used as an "orange" in this criminal scheme, possibly without her own knowledge. The suspicion revolves around the misuse of her personal data. Furthermore, Neoway's registered address does not correspond to reality, suggesting yet another layer of fraud.

Internal involvement in Corinthians is also alarming. It was discovered that payments of R$700,000 were authorized by the club's administrative director without the approval of the financial director. This lack of transparency raises serious questions about the financial management of the sports institution.

In recent days, a controversy involving Flamengo striker Gabigol and his advisory team has taken over sporting discussions. The trigger was the accusation made by André Rizek, a renowned sports journalist, who harshly criticized the stance of the player and his staff.

It all started when Gabigol missed a training session with Flamengo. Initially, the justification given by the player and his team was that he was dealing with personal problems. However, this explanation did not convince everyone, and the situation became more complicated when evidence emerged that Gabigol was in a clandestine casino in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro the night before his absence.

On his program, Rizek did not mince words when addressing the incident. “The greatest asset anyone can have is credibility. And this credibility was thrown in the trash can by Gabigol and his staff. It is impossible to understand why they maintained a lie for so long,” declared the journalist. Rizek's speech resonated strongly with fans and sports media, raising questions about the honesty and responsibility of professional athletes.

Rizek's statement ignited a heated debate on social media. Fans and critics of Flamengo were divided between those who defended Gabigol, claiming that personal problems should be treated with more sensitivity, and those who supported Rizek, demanding transparency and professionalism from the player. The main issue revolved around trust and integrity, both of Gabigol and the institution he represents.

The Liga Forte União, which brings together 11 clubs from Série A, but also several clubs from the other series of the Brasileirão, have proposed four groups for the rights of open broadcast package for editions from 2025 to 2029. The four groups want the right to broadcast games at two times, Wednesdays at 9:30 pm and Saturdays at 4 pm.

The amounts involved have not yet have been announced, but rights negotiations are considered “hot and advanced”. The four groups compete for the most visible package. The idea is to have one game per round, or 38 games per championship. The expectation is that the result of the process will be announced in a few days.

Liga Forte União also has two paid platform packages. The entity guarantees that it has interested parties for all platforms. Libra, which includes Flamengo, Palmeiras and São Paulo, three of the four clubs with the biggest fans in Brazil, has already closed with Grupo Globo on all platforms.

Corinthians is the only Serie A club to negotiate alone

While the other clubs in Series A negotiate in two blocks, Corinthians, which was part of Libra, decided to negotiate independently. The black and white team from São Paulo approached the Liga Forte, but did not join the package. The São Paulo club can still decide to close with either of the two groups.

Flamengo is one of Libra's pillar clubs, which negotiated an agreement for all platforms, paid and open, with Grupo Globo. Between 2025 and 2029, Rubro-Negro will receive less than what it received until 2024. Fla's board was heavily criticized for having given up the guaranteed minimum, which was part of the contract.
