Presenter Cariúcha went to a medical follow-up appointment this Saturday (6), after being rushed into surgery and removing 17 fibroids, on July 21st. Still recovering, the artist waved and was friendly with the paparazzo and, when approached, stated that she was fine.
Furthermore, Cariúcha revealed that she should return to the SBT program Fofocalizando, this Monday (8). Since she underwent surgery, the presenter has not yet returned to work.
Before her emergency surgery, Cariúcha had already been undergoing medical follow-up. The presenter says she had fibroids 6 years ago, but the doctors said she didn't need surgery.
However, her pain got worse and she spent four months menstruating and living on medication, as an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory.
After feeling a lot of pain and having heavy bleeding, Cariúcha underwent tests that identified seven fibroids, and, therefore, she had a great surprise when she underwent surgery, and discovered that she had plus 10 fibroids, which are benign tumors.
