This Monday (5), after Gabriel Medina won the bronze medal at the Olympics in Paris, France, the surfer's mother, Simone Medina, gave a statement to Cazé TV. The matriarch stated that her son and she are “stronger”, and even left a message for the boy's rivals.
“For me it is a pride and a pleasure to hear this [praise for the surfer]. We raise our children to live with people, to live outside. So, when I hear things like that, [I think the] mission accomplished, right? Because we pass on [the teachings] for them to live out there. Simone Medina ended by sending a message, which seemed more like a hint to Luiza Brunet's daughter : “So I'm already warning my opponents: 'we're stronger'. So, now, let them wait for us”, highlighted Simone, referring to her husband, who was away from the athlete after a family fight, which became public.

Jojo also denied having committed any prejudiced act against influencer Amanda Froes and also stated that she reported the influencer for racism. According to the singer's lawyer, more than 30 police reports for hate crimes have already been filed against the artist.
It is worth remembering that the fight began in April, when Amanda said she did not care to greet the singer at the condominium, criticizing her positions against the rights of the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
Jojo responded by calling her neighbor a "slut" and a "demon": “In fact, I am the victim, I am the victim of the story. In the lawsuit, Amanda Froes is asking for R$50,000 in moral damages, claiming that the singer's statements were made in bad faith, violating her honor, gender identity and dignity as a trans woman. The influencer also claims to have been the victim of a digital moral lynching, suffering attacks due to Jojo's notorious power of influence.
