In an exclusive interview with one of the stars of Flamengo Basquete this season, Kayo Gonçalves spoke to Gazeta do Urubu in a chat back to So relaxed, Flamengo and current number 23 of the squad with Gustavo de Conti, the player and Cria do Ninho, responded to 7 in 1 from Gazeta do Urubu:
THE CURRENT SEASON FOR FLAMENGO
It went through a long period of adaptation in 2024, and today there is a larger minute in the line-up of Flamengo, how are you feeling?
"I feel good knowing that I can contribute to the team with my game, and I'm also happy to stop and look back and see my progress and where I am today" - replied Kayo about his season at NBB
How has Gustavinho (De Conti) given you this peace of mind to demonstrate and provide confidence in your game?
This tranquility and confidence is conveyed and demonstrated on a daily basis during training, and also in games through conversations, specific plays, etc... At the end of the day, I really trust my work and my strengths, so I think that this tranquility to do some things on the court has to come from within yourself too b>, But having a coach who knows and supports these strengths helps a lot when making a decision. - opened up about his trust with Gustavo de Conti
REFORMULATION, FRIENDS AND FUTURE AT THE CLUB < /p>
Flamengo underwent a major overhaul this year, as is the chemistry of this new cast?
I think the chemistry is good and will get better and better. Our team is growing and improving with each training session and game. I have complete confidence in our team and coaching staff. - replied the Ala-Pivô
Who is the most critical, the most serious and finally the most fearful of the cast ?
Jhonny is the most reviewed! Always excited and with a smile on his face playing with everyone. The most serious is Balbi. I can't say the most fearful one but in fact it's not Taya (Gallizzi)... He already showed me a video going into a river and catching an alligator by the tail, dragging him out... if he's afraid of something I don't know, but he's not afraid of an alligator (laughs). - joked shirt 23
Why the use of shirt 23, familiar? Something special?
I don't have any reason as serious as other people. I really liked using the 4 because I was very inspired by Marcelinho's shot. I've already used 7 because it's a number I really like. I like 23 because it is a number used by many basketball legendsand by numerology too. - brought his point of view
Finally, where does Kayo see Flamengo at the end of the 24/25 season?
I see Flamengo bringing pride to the fans going to the world championship after winning the BCLA and NBB - praised the Flamengo Basquete athlete
