Despite Neymar's vast fortune, valued at R$4.8 billion, his family has faced financial problems that resulted in late bills and names protested at the registry office. Neymar Pai, businessman and partner of the player in several ventures, had his name protested due to debts in cities such as Rio de Janeiro and Santos.

The most significant debt is in Balneário Camboriú, where he stopped paying a company that supplied the air conditioning system for the four floors of the penthouse that Neymar bought in the city of Santa Catarina. The largest outstanding debt, of almost R$5,000, has been collected since April.

Rafaella Santos, Neymar's sister, also contracted debts and had her name protested. She owes a hospital and a clinical analysis laboratory in São Paulo. Between 2020 and 2022, Rafaella did not pay installments of R$250 and exams that cost around R$6,500. Due to these debts, her name was taken to the registry office.

NADINE GONÇALVES AND CONDOMINIUM DEBT

Nadine Gonçalves, Neymar's mother, was not exempt from the family's financial problems. She owes R$2,600 relating to two condominium invoices for the months of February and March of this year. Just like her ex-husband and daughter, Nadine had her name protested at the registry office.

CONSEQUENCES OF DEFAULT

< Having your name protested can lead to inclusion in credit protection agencies, such as Serasa, resulting in a negative CPF. This makes it difficult to obtain credit in the future and may prevent new installments, further complicating the family's financial situation.
