Babi Cruz, wife of Arlindo Cruz, and Flora Cruz, daughter of the samba singer, expressed their support for the singer after he was hospitalized. Last Thursday (18/7), the artist's team released a statement informing that Arlindo was hospitalized for exams and dental treatment.
“Beautiful and strong as always! I love you forever”, wrote Flora. “Your strength and your will to live is what defines overcoming! At all times, our children and I will be fighting on your side”, said Babi Cruz.
According to the note from Arlindo’s team, he needed to be hospitalized due to his health condition, which makes the treatment “ even more sensitive.” The samba singer has lived in a delicate state in recent years after suffering a stroke in 2017. Since the incident, he has been living with sequelae and has undergone several surgeries.
“He continues with the stable clinical condition, maintaining all vital signs”, concluded the note, also thanking Arlindo’s fans and friends for their prayers. The team's message was to contradict reports that the singer had suffered three seizures before hospitalization.
