The Rubro Negro fan who is missing following the Flamengo basketball team will be able to make up for it this Thursday (05). The Mais Querido team will make its debut in the State Championship against CCL Leopoldinense, at Ginásio Hélio Maurício, in Gávea, at 7:30 pm.
Rubro Negro is looking for its 49th Carioca Championship title. Mais Querido's basketball team goes all out against Leopoldinense. And fans who cannot come and support the team will be able to watch online. This is because Flamengo announced that the match will be broadcast live via FlaTv.
The Carioca Basketball Championship was once one of the main ones in the country and was a major attraction on the national calendar. However, today the tournament is completely empty. Without Vasco and Botafogo, who decided to compete only in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), the state championship will be played in 2023 by just three teams.
The tournament will be played in a triangular format, based at the Ginásio Hélio Maurício, in Gávea. In addition to Flamengo and Leopoldinense, Clube Municipal is the third participating team. The three teams will face each other, and whoever scores the most will become champion.
After spending a season without winning titles in Flabasquete, Mais Querido's board decided to invest heavily in the team and hired a package of reinforcements . Idols have returned and will now be able to help Rubro Negro during the season. The fans hope to be happy with the new hires.
