Flamengo officially announced the date and time of Juninho's performance, its a href="https://gazetadourubu.com/noticia/juninho-revela-conversas-com-ologista-do-flamengo-facilita-meu-processo" target="_blank">first reinforcement for the season 2025. The striker will be presented this Tuesday (21), at 3pm b> (Brasília time), in Ninho do Urubu.
Before the press conference, Juninho will receive the number 23 shirt from the hands of the new technical director, José Boto. Afterwards, the event will be open to questions from the journalists present.
Initially, the Flamengo had scheduled the presentation for 2:30 pm, but adjusted the schedule to 3 pm, quickly communicating the change.
The choice of date was also strategic. The red and black delegation that was in the United States for the pre-season — including José Boto — is scheduled to arrive in Brazil for this Monday (20), at 1:40 pm. This way, Juninho will be able to have his first contacts with the technical committee before the official ceremony.
Filipe Luís highlights Juninho's role in the attack
After the 0-0 draw against São Paulo, in the first test of the season, coach Filipe Luís was asked about Flamengo's offensive planning and highlighted Juninho's importance for the team's tactical scheme.

The dispute became necessary after Flamengo terminated its relationship with Pixbet, a longtime partner, due to payment delays and issues with government agencies.
The end of the partnership with Pixbet was made official hours before the duel against Internacional for the Libertadores, last Wednesday (13). On that occasion, the team entered the field with the word “thank you” printed above the former sponsor , as a gesture of gratitude for the period of collaboration.
Behind the scenes, Flamengo acted quickly to secure a new partner . The board of directors opened a competition, asking interested companies to submit sealed proposals. Initially, Betano and Superbet emerged as the favorites.
With the entry of other companies, such as Esportes da Sorte, 7K Bet, and Bet Nacional, the competition took on new dimensions.
