After Argentina's 4-1 win over Brazil, commentator Galvão Bueno criticized the Brazilian team on Tuesday night (25). He said that the Argentine team gave the team led by coach Dorival Júnior a run for its money and directed his complaints to former player Romário.

“ I have broadcast the Brazilian National Team for over 40 years. Apart from the 7-1 defeat in that World Cup semi-final here in Brazil in 2014, I have never seen the team play so badly. It is very simple to talk about the game: on one side, a team that had won the Copa América twice, the world champion, without two starting forwards, but was well trained, dedicated to every move, with a lot of intensity (…) Sorry Dorival, I don’t like to ask for a coach’s head, but on the other side, it was a team that looked like a bunch of people and was doing nothing ,” the presenter reinforced.
The narrator continued with his rant: “ The defense is horrible. All of Brazil’s midfield players play for small or medium-sized teams, this has never happened. And up front, no one resolved anything ,” Galvão Bueno pointed out.

The narrator also made a point of mentioning Romário and Raphinha in his criticism: “ What’s the point, Romário, of you telling them to fight? What’s the point, Raphinha, of you saying ‘we’ll fight on and off the field if necessary’? The worst Brazilian team since that 7-1 against Germany. I’ve always liked Dorival’s work, but we can’t keep going like this. What kind of Brazilian football is this? What a horrible thing ,” he concluded.

Despite not stepping on the court in recent weeks, João Fonseca reached another significant milestone in his career. The 18-year-old rose to 47th place in the ATP rankings , released this Monday (22). The improvement in the ranking came after Marcos Giron, from the United States, dropped 11 places.
This is the best finish of Fonseca 's career, and he continues to break records. He became the 12th Brazilian in history to enter the top 50 since the beginning of the Open Era in 1968. Now, he also debuts among the ten highest-ranked Brazilian tennis players of all time, occupying 10th place , surpassing Cássio Motta, who was 48th in the world in 1986.
João Fonseca hasn't played since July 4th, when he was eliminated by Nicolás Jarry in the third round of Wimbledon. Now, he's preparing for his next match: the Toronto Masters 1000, which will take place from July 27th to August 7th . The tournament is the first major hard-court event of the North American season and serves as a tune-up for the US Open at the end of August.

Oruam turned himself in to the police last Tuesday (22) after having an arrest warrant issued by the Court. Thus, this Wednesday (23), the rapper's fiancée, Fernanda Valença, spoke on her Instagram about the reaction of her father-in-law, Marcinho VP. The influencer highlighted that the singer's father "is not happy" with the indictment.
Oruam's bride talks about Marcinho VP's opinion: "Contrary to what many people think, my father-in-law is not happy about any of this news."
She continued: "He and my mother-in-law fought tirelessly throughout their lives for their children to change the family's destiny. However, this never stopped the constant psychological torments they faced over time ," she wrote in an excerpt.
