Rio Grande do Sul faces a major calamity, after heavy rains hit the state and caused the biggest flood in the history of RS. In the midst of this, the organized fans of Flamengo "Nação 12", sent a bus with 40 volunteers, as well as donations, to the location.
In an interview with the reporter from the Coluna do Fla portal, Rafael Oliveira, president of "Nação 12", reported that the fans sent a bus with 40 volunteers, including nurses, first responders and civil firefighters. Furthermore, several donations were sent to Rio Grande do Sul this past Tuesday (14).
CAMPAIGN IDEA
The mobilization began when one of the members, Silvana, who is a nurse, demonstrated her desire to help flood victims in some way. It was then that the vice-president of "Nação 12", Márcio Vieira, came up with the idea of taking volunteers.
With the desire to help, the fans contacted a bus company and managed to transport at cost price. This is because, in addition to solidarity, the driver has relatives in Rio Grande do Sul and, coincidentally, left the place for Rio de Janeiro.
After arranging transport and volunteers, the fans created a campaign through on social media to raise money to cover the costs of the trip. Thus, Nation 12 reached the goal and, with what was left, purchased items to donate. FlaManguaça also collected donations and sent them to the bus.

The Brazilian team will debut the shirt in a friendly match against Japan on May 30th, at Neo Química Arena, in São Paulo

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) , in partnership with Nike , presents the new collection for the Brazilian women's national team. With a debut date set for May 30th in a friendly match against Japan, this is the third uniform 100% developed exclusively for the women's team, continuing a trajectory that began in 2019 with the launch of the “Women Warriors of Brazil” collection and followed, in 2023, by the uniform inspired by “Mother Nature”.
Now, inspired by the “Force of Beauty” , the jerseys that our players will wear in the next competitions bring cutting-edge performance and striking design to the field.
The home kit, called “Domínio Brasileiro,” celebrates Brazil ’s iconic yellow, green and blue colors. This season, the yellow has been updated to a richer, more saturated hue, inspired by the vibrant local wildlife, landscapes and architecture, such as the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
The shirt features a green collar and blue details . On the inside, there is a diamond with the inscription “Força Beleza”, which celebrates the balance between confidence, strength, femininity and competitiveness.
Brazil’s away kit, titled “Bold Beauty,” incorporates both new and traditional shades of blue, conveying expression and vitality. An all-over diamond grid print includes a variety of geometric patterns and organic shapes , including leopard rosettes, tropical plant silhouettes, an interpretation of Brazilianness (the elegant, harmonious movement on the field) and more. The away kit represents the multifaceted strength and beauty of the growing women’s soccer community.
The new Brazil Women’s National Team collection will be available on Nike.com , the Nike App, in-store and at select retailers in early June. In addition to the home and away kits, the collection includes a line of products inspired by Brazilian culture.
