Researcher and babalaô is outraged by prejudiced phrase shown at Flamengo fan show at Coachella

For 40 years working in favor of freedoms, human rights, pluralities against racism and religious intolerance, babalaô Ivanir dos Santos received with surprise and indignation the news that Ludmilla exhibited in her show at Coachella, United States, a prejudiced phrase.
In conversation with the GENTE column, from Veja magazine, Ivanir – who is also a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Comparative History at UFRJ – says that he is filing a public representation against the singer, so that she speak out immediately, this being the first step towards a lawsuit for religious discrimination.
“It's a lot of contradiction on her part, being a black, LGBT+ woman. Everything she suffered from prejudice gave back. She attacks the culture of her ancestors, even though she is evangelical. What does a black person contribute by acting like this? Anything. Even worse was learning that the director of her production is a trans woman. It only gets worse, because article 20 of the Caó Law, which we will use against this attitude, is the same one that gave protection to the LGBT+ sector of society. This phrase from the show is as offensive to black people as a swastika is against Jews. She committed a crime and needs to answer for it”, says Ivanir.
The scholar was a consultant on the series Arcanjo Renegado, on Globoplay, in which Ludmilla acted as an actress for the first time. She played a military police officer who chased bandits who attacked a Candomblé terreiro in a community in Rio.
“This excuse from her now that she didn't really know what she was saying on stage, or that they took it out of context, is not It's true, because she herself took a class on this, she acted in the series on this issue. I speak as a witness, because I was on the recording”, continues Ivanir.

The protagonists of the Netflix series Bridgerton, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton are in Rio de Janeiro. The duo came to Brazil to promote the series and took several tours of the Marvelous City, this past Sunday (19).
The actors boasted several of the delicious clichés of foreign personalities in the country: they drank caipirinha, posed with the Brazilian National Team shirt and with the Sacred Mantle, from Flamengo. In addition, they also posed on Copacabana Beach.
Nicola and Luke also visited Galeto Sat's, a traditional bar in the south zone, which became news after Chico Moedas' betrayal of Luísa Sonza, which allegedly happened in the bathroom location.
In the series, Luke and Nicola play Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, a couple who are nicknamed PoLin by fans. They are in the third season of the production, which has been on air since the 16th.

Former Flamengo goalkeeper Julio Cesar declared himself to his family last Sunday night (19), after resuming his marriage with actress and businesswoman Susana Werner. The former player shared a photo of his wife with their two children, Cauet and Giulia and her father Avelino Werner.
"Family," wrote Julio Cesar when sharing the click from the meeting, in which he does not appear. Julio and Susana, who have been married since 2002, announced their separation in November, but recently, their reconciliation was revealed.

Ludmilla took the stage at Coachella, in California, this Sunday (14), and made history. The singer, who was the first Afro-Latina to perform on the main stage of the event, considered one of the biggest pop music festivals in the world, had an effect on the internet: she had a boom in searches in the United States. According to Google Trends, the artist had a spike in searches for her name in the country.
According to the platform, the time of greatest flow of searches was at night and with more intensity in the state of California, where the event took place. Among the related searches and with a sudden increase in searches, the term "Ludmilla Beyoncé" appears. The pop star announced, in audio, the Brazilian before her show, surprising and impacting the public.
Brunna Gonçalves, Lud's wife and dancer who performed dancing, in addition to the names of Latin artists also appear among related subjects. "Piña Colada", a song in partnership with Ryan Castro, in which Lud sings in English and Spanish, also appears high.
