Last Thursday (07), Mengão presented its new shirt in reference to 'Black November', at an event held at the club's headquarters, in Gávea. Among the highlights of the launch, the singer Jorge Aragão, fervent red-black fan, expressed great emotion when participating in the campaign that pays homage to the struggle and resistance of black people. His song "Identidade" served as inspiration for the campaign called "More than culture, identity".
Aragão, visibly moved, he commented on the privilege of participating in such a significant action alongside the club he loves. "The feeling that it's happening, that it's true, with the team that I've always supported. I already have the experience of hearing 'I'm going to celebrate' at Maracanã, the people singing it, it made me very nervous. But I never thought about reaching a point like this, representing blackness, doing work together with Maracanã, even more so with another song... I'm very happy", he declared in an interview with the portal Lance!.
CAMPAIGN INSPIRED BY 'IDENTITY' VALUES BLACK REPRESENTATIVITY
The new shirt, which brings the theme 'More than culture, identity', is inspired by the song "Identidade " by Jorge Aragão. The song addresses the reality and overcoming of black people, reinforcing the connection with the fight for equality. It is not the first time that a composition by the artist has been related to football, as "Vou fesejar" is often sung by fans at Maracanã.

Available since Thursday, the new piece costs R$ 239 and is brown, with gold details and horizontal lines. In addition, the collection includes caps, sandals and other items that reinforce the tribute to Black November. It is important to remember that, on November 20th, Black Awareness Day is celebrated, a national holiday.
Even with the party in Gávea bringing together around 250 guests, the shirt will not be used in official matches, remaining an exclusive collection item for fans. Next Sunday (10), Mais Querido will face Atlético-MG in the final of the Copa do Brasil, at Arena MRV, using their traditional red and black uniform. The game will start at 4pm (Brasília time).

Despite not stepping on the court in recent weeks, João Fonseca reached another significant milestone in his career. The 18-year-old rose to 47th place in the ATP rankings , released this Monday (22). The improvement in the ranking came after Marcos Giron, from the United States, dropped 11 places.
This is the best finish of Fonseca 's career, and he continues to break records. He became the 12th Brazilian in history to enter the top 50 since the beginning of the Open Era in 1968. Now, he also debuts among the ten highest-ranked Brazilian tennis players of all time, occupying 10th place , surpassing Cássio Motta, who was 48th in the world in 1986.
João Fonseca hasn't played since July 4th, when he was eliminated by Nicolás Jarry in the third round of Wimbledon. Oruam turned himself in to the police last Tuesday (22) after having an arrest warrant issued by the Court. Thus, this Wednesday (23), the rapper's fiancée, Fernanda Valença, spoke on her Instagram about the reaction of her father-in-law, Marcinho VP. The influencer highlighted that the singer's father "is not happy" with the indictment.
Oruam's bride talks about Marcinho VP's opinion: "Contrary to what many people think, my father-in-law is not happy about any of this news."
She continued: "He and my mother-in-law fought tirelessly throughout their lives for their children to change the family's destiny. However, this never stopped the constant psychological torments they faced over time ," she wrote in an excerpt.
