The two met in September last year through mutual friends. At the time, the Flamengo player was separating from Tainá Castro. Before Karoline, Léo Pereira had a brief relationship with a model who lives in Goiânia.

In a series of stories on Instagram, the 48-year-old actress made harsh statements about the negative impact of this type of advertising, including a direct mention of her ex-husband, surfer Pedro Scooby.
"How come Do you have the courage to sell bets? Don't you know the people of the country you live in? My children's father also sells football bets", declared Piovani, referring to Scooby's involvement with this type of advertising. The actress also revealed her concern when she realized that her eldest son, Dom, would be defending the bets, a fact that she regretted.
