After beating England 1-0, Spain won the Women's World Cup. However, Spanish football didn't have much time to celebrate before witnessing an unfortunate event. Luis Ruiales, president of the Spanish Football Federation, kissed the mouth of athlete Jenni Hermoso, who plays for the Spanish women's national team, during the players' awards. In this context, Marta condemns the president's actions.

In what was supposed to be a happy moment, Luis Rubiales kissed Jenni Hermoso on the lips during the presentation of the medals of the Women's World Cup final , in Australia. After the incident, world football has been revolting with the president's attitude. Like several figures in the world of football, Marta used her social networks to criticize the president of the Spanish Federation: "There is no room for this type of shameful behavior in our society. We are with you, Jenni Hermoso"

Jenni Hermoso, along with other players from the Spanish national team, turned to the FutPro union to comment on what happened. “I want to clarify that, as seen in the images, at no time did I consent to the kiss he gave me. I don't tolerate my word being called into question, much less that words that I didn't say are invented", said Jenni. The players concluded by stating that they will not return to the national team until those involved are duly punished. >

Despite Jenni's pronouncement, the president of the Royal Spanish Federation insists that he asked for the player's authorization and that he is being unfairly accused by "false feminists". his resignation has been called for, however, despite Rubiales' pronouncement, the Spanish football authorities are determined to punish the president.

"The government will not remain impassive. Mr. Rubiales has stated several times that he will not leave office, but the government has already started the procedures for him to give explanations to the TAD. If the Council is in a position to do so, we will suspend it. As the person responsible for Spanish sport, I apologize to the players because they didn't deserve to go through this this week," said Víctor Francos, president of the Spanish Higher Sports Council.
