MC Cabelinho released his new song "Bala e Fogo", in collaboration with Teto, bringing an innovative sound that mixes trap with rock elements. The song is part of the album "Não Sou Santo, Mas Não Sou Bandido", announced during the show at Rock in Rio's Sunset Stage, on September 13th. The news arrived accompanied by a music video with horror aesthetics, now available on the artist's YouTube.
The musical production of "Bala e Fogo" was in the hands of João Pedro Palma, who is Cabelinho's partner in several projects. This time, Palma innovated by introducing rock instruments into trap, leaving the conventional. “I used acoustic drums, which gave it an alternative vibe, and then added a distorted guitar to give the chorus even more explosive energy”, explains the producer. Palma reflects on the flexibility of the trap genre today, highlighting that several artists, such as A$AP Rocky, bring influences from other musical styles, which makes the sound more versatile.
SHADOW THEME CLIP AND INSPIRATION FROM GREEK MYTHOLOGY
The music video for “Bala e Fogo” is directed by Rafael Carmo, who had already worked with MC Cabelinho in “Carta Aberta”, track nominated for the Latin Grammy 2024. Carmo reveals that, when listening to the song, he felt a dark atmosphere and decided to look to Greek mythology for inspiration for the visual concept of the clip. The result was a sinister underworld, where Cabelinho plays a figure inspired by the boatman from Hades, god of the underworld.
The filming took place in a 19th century house in São Paulo, which was transformed into a dark kingdom for the narrative. Divided into five acts, the clip features visual metaphors that criticize issues such as media manipulation and the impact of social networks. In one of the scenes, Teto buries a hater, while the singers appear like puppets coming out of televisions. In another moment, Cabelinho appears in a coma, with his blood being sucked to feed likes and shares online.
IMPACT VISUAL AND SOCIAL CRITICISM
The music video features a dark aesthetic, with the artists characterized as sinister creatures, wearing horns, colored contact lenses and grotesque makeup. In addition to Greek mythology, the visual dialogues with current themes, such as the influence of social networks and criticism of the way the media shapes perceptions.

After "marrying" her boyfriend at a June party over the weekend, singer Jojo Todynho appeared this past Monday (30) at the 42nd Police Station, in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in Rio. This is because the famous woman was giving a statement in a case involving racist attacks that she has been suffering on social media and also the complaint filed by trans influencer Amanda Froes.
In an interview with the LeoDias portal, Jojo reported that she suffers insults daily and that these attacks intensified after revealing her political position: “ People want to dictate what others want to say ”.
Jojo also denied having committed any prejudiced act against influencer Amanda Froes and also stated that she reported the influencer for racism. According to the singer's lawyer, more than 30 police reports for hate crimes have already been filed against the artist.
It is worth remembering that the fight began in April, when Amanda said she did not care to greet the singer at the condominium, criticizing her positions against the rights of the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
Jojo responded by calling her neighbor a "slut" and a "demon": “In fact, I am the victim, I am the victim of the story. My integrity was violated from the moment she came out publicly to say – where I would live in the future, that I don't even live there – she filed a slanderous complaint saying that I was transphobic towards her and I didn't even know what her gender identity was. I have no knowledge of who this person is. I think it is absurd for you to come out publicly to talk about a person you don't know .”
In the lawsuit, Amanda Froes is asking for R$50,000 in moral damages, claiming that the singer's statements were made in bad faith, violating her honor, gender identity and dignity as a trans woman. The influencer also claims to have been the victim of a digital moral lynching, suffering attacks due to Jojo's notorious power of influence.
