Singer MC Daniel, 25 years old, had his car, valued at more than R$700,000, stolen in the South Zone of Rio, in the early hours of this Thursday (15). The artist explained, on Instagram Stories, that his security guard was driving the vehicle when he was approached by thieves with rifles. Known as the "Funk Falcon", he also asked the criminals to return the car and offered a reward.
"Urgent. They stole my car in Rio de Janeiro. If anyone sees (sic) send a photo or video. He was robbed with a rifle on the street of Rio Beach Club, entrance to Joá", wrote the singer on the social network.
Soon afterwards, he gave more details of what happened. "So, next family: I came to Rio de Janeiro this morning by plane and Paulo, who is my security guard, and Caldeira, were coming with the defender here to Rio de Janeiro. The 'guys' (sic) They approached the kids. How was it?", asked Daniel.
The security guard explained: "They took them away. They came with the parts [rifles] in their hands and everything. And that's it, understand?", he replied.
Finally, MC Daniel he asked them to return the vehicle and said he would give a reward:
"Guys, just giving you a shout out to return the stuff in friendship, in peace, understand? You're aware that we're low-level kids, We help everyone, with a good heart. On Monday afternoon (10), columnist Fábia Oliveira, from Metrópoles, exclusively disclosed a controversy involving MC Daniel. The story was told by Gleison Paulino, a security guard who the funk player had promised to help with a donation of one thousand reais.
According to the professional, the situation would have happened in 2023 and the money would be used to pay the house installment from him. However, although the act made the employee cry, he would not have seen the color of the money until now.
As revealed by Fábia Oliveira, the event at which MC Daniel and Gleison met took place in Caldas Novas, in Goiás, where the performer of the song “Samba do Malandro” would perform. According to the security guard, he was offered the money after he asked to take a photo with the singer to show his son.
“I went in [to the dressing room] to take a photo. He [MC Daniel] asked if everything was ok, I replied that it was and then he gave me R$100. I told him that my son was out of milk, that I was out of work and working as a security guard. And then he gave me another R$ 100”, he detailed.
Next, Gleison Paulino told Fábia Oliveira about the emotion he felt when receiving the high value offered by MC Daniel, but that he ended up having the frustrated expectations by not receiving anything in your bank account. “He asked me if R$1,000 would help me. I started to cry, to get emotional. Then I remembered that my house payment was late, there were three payments left and he said he was going to make a payment of R$1,000. They asked for my contact, I gave my phone number, which is my pix, but I didn't receive anything”, he said.
The security guard at MC Daniel's show in São Paulo also revealed that someone actually recorded and publicized the act of kindness from the funk player on the Goiânia Mil Graus page, on Instagram. However, after the video came to the attention of his co-workers, Gleison Paulino ended up becoming a joke.
“Afterwards, everyone told me, telling me, that they had released it [on social media] that a MC gave me R$2,000 [they published the story with a higher amount], but that's not what happened. People were all picking on me. The security guards who work with me were picking on me, in that fun, that nothing had happened”, he reported.
The security guard ended the interview with Fábia Oliveira saying that he would try to talk to MC Daniel on the 1st June this year, as the celebrity would perform in the same region of Goiás again, but the performance ended up being cancelled.
