The website Sportico, specialized in sports business, published this week a ranking of the 50 most valuable clubs in world football. Flamengo is the only Brazilian on the list and appears in 47th, valued at US$ 570 million (R$ 2.9 billion, at current prices).
Manchester United leads the ranking, followed closely by Real Madrid. Both are valued at more than US$6 billion (R$30 billion). Barcelona, Liverpool and Bayern Munich complete the top 5.
