The coach of the Brazilian Women's Team, Arthur Elias, takes his definition of the group literally when asked about the possible starting team at the Paris Olympic Games. He doesn't work with this concept. Proof of this is that in the group stage they rotated the entire squad – with the exception of goalkeepers Tainá and Luciana – that they brought to France.

For each of Brazil's opponents at the Olympics there is a different game plan and this in most often means an alternative or adapted lineup. In the list of the 22 athletes called up for the competition, it cannot even be said that Marta is a member of the team. She was on the field in the three matches of the first phase.

Several changes in the team's trajectory so far in the Olympics were motivated, however, by injuries, muscle pain, physical exhaustion and, in the case of Antônia , due to a fracture in his left leg. Still, Arthur sets up his strategies confident that he has an eclectic group, capable of assimilating and executing his guidelines.

There are several factors that punctuate each lineup of the Brazilian Team at the Olympics. If everyone is at the same technical and physical level, or close to it, Arthur weighs the potential he has in his hands and the strongest and most vulnerable points of his opponents.

From then on, place the pieces on the board. The analogy with the game of chess is plausible – each in their own position, evolving together, prepared to attack and attentive in defense. Therefore, the formation of the team for this Tuesday's game (6) against Spain, in Marseille, will follow the criteria adopted by Arthur Elias and only one hour before the match will the lineup be known.

In addition to not conceding goals, the numbers from the SofaScore statistics portal indicate five saves, in addition to 12 successful long balls.

Despite leaving the field with the defeat, Igor Jesus was the highlight of Estrela Amadora. The young midfielder was the best on his team and scored 7.2. The athlete was effective in marking, winning seven duels from below, one from above and making tackles. However, he committed 4 fouls and received a yellow card. Igor also helped with the playmaking, launching three long balls and having an 84% pass accuracy rate.

SITUATION OF SANTA CLARA AND ESTRELA AMADORA

The teams of both Crias do Ninho meet at different times in the season. This is because, with the victory, Santa Clara moved into third place, behind Sporting and Porto.

Igor Jesus' Estrela Amadora is fighting to get out of the relegation zone. The team is second to last, ahead of only Farense. In six matches of the Portuguese Championship, only two points were scored.
