0Right-back Wesley, from Mais Querido, found himself involved in a recent controversy off the field. The player, who will soon be a father, confirmed the end of his relationship with Amanda Martins, who is pregnant. Furthermore, speculation arose that Wesley was getting closer to Ana Li Sangaletti, ex-girlfriend of player Lázaro, currently at Palmeiras. The information was revealed by the gossip profile "Condomínio da Fifi".
Wesley confirmed that he had an involvement with Ana Li, but denied any serious relationship and explained that the breakup with Amanda happened more than a month ago. "Amanda and I broke up more than a month ago. We talked and decided it would be the best for both of us. It didn't work out as a couple, but I'm not dating anyone. We just stayed," said Mengão's number 43.
Even with Wesley stating that his involvement with Ana Li was just a one-off, Rumors of a relationship gained strength after the young woman was seen at Maracanã watching a CRF game last weekend. Ana Li, who is a Physical Education student and works as a relationship coordinator for a company, had a discreet relationship with Lázaro until June this year. Her presence at the stadium raised suspicions that something else was happening between her and the full-back.
