Even with Will Smith's surprise announcement on the Sunset Stage, the big highlight this Thursday (19) at Rock in Rio 2024 is the British Ed Sheeran, 33 years old. The singer closes the night on Palco Mundo, with the show scheduled to start at 00:15. The festival, which celebrates its 40th anniversary, starts again this Thursday and continues until Sunday, promising a program full of attractions of different styles.

Owning a simple image and devoid of the traditional stereotypes of a pop star, the British singer won the audience with his ability to create catchy melodies and perform alone on stage, with just his guitar and loop pedals. His unique style moves between the intimacy of acoustic performances and the impact of large arena shows.

Winner of an Oscar and with four Grammys under his belt, Will Smith also draws attention at Rock in Rio, with an almost lightning-fast appearance on the Sunset Stage. He's back to music with two tracks that will be part of his next album: "Work of Art", recorded in partnership with his son, Jaden, and "You Can Make It". The life of singer and presenter Preta Gil is not easy. Gilberto Gil's daughter spoke this Wednesday (18) about hair loss during cancer treatment. After many questions, the singer showed the current state of her hair and said that it is partially falling out.

"People ask me a lot about my hair, if it won't fall out and if I won't go bald. He's falling, but it's a partial loss. But he's falling a lot," she said on her social media.
