Created by Flamengo and considered one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, Lucas Paquetá does not hide his love for Mais Querido. Now, the player tries to pass on this red-black passion to the next generation. Thus, the athlete appeared in a video on social media teaching his son to sing the Mengo anthem.

In images published on social media by Lucas Paquetá's wife, which were reposted by the athlete, he appears at a moment relaxing with his family and helping his son sing the Flamengo anthem, even joking: “you have to sing it all”.

SOUNDED BY FLAMENGO

It is worth remembering that Lucas Paquetá was one of the names desired by the Red and Black board in the last transfer window. The midfielder is linked to West Ham (ING), but is experiencing a turbulent situation in England. This is because the midfielder is being investigated by the English Federation (FA) for "misconduct in relation to betting" in four Premier League matches.

Thus, Mais Querido even tried to convince the English team that a change of scenery would be positive for the player. However, West Ham did not accept the values proposed by Flamengo and the negotiation did not progress.

DECISION AT LIBERTADORES

Most Querido is focused on the confrontation against Peñarol, in the Libertadores quarter-finals. Therefore, Flamengo faces the Uruguayans this Thursday (19), at 7pm, at Maracanã.

The quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana could "inaugurate" Conmebol's new protocol for cases of racism. The South American entity will follow FIFA's recommendation, which provides for the use of "crossed arms" to denounce racism in games.

Players must cross their hands at wrist height to signal to the referee that they have been targeted of racist insults. Conmebol announced on September 5th that it would implement the gesture in its competitions.

"The racist incident gesture, which will allow players, referees and technical staff to take a firm stance against racism, will be integrated into the three-level procedure for discriminatory incidents in all tournaments organized by Conmebol from 2024 onwards", says the Excerpt from a Conmebol statement.

The regulation provides for a procedure with three "phases" in case of racism, which could result in the definitive suspension of the match. The referee will need to consult relevant authorities and experts before opting for suspension.

First phase: Interruption of the match after the referee, players or those responsible for the competitions point out a case of racism. A statement will be issued to the stadiums explaining the reason for the interruption.
Second phase: Temporary suspension of the game and players going to the changing rooms. Again the decision will be announced at the stadium.

Third phase: Permanent suspension of the match. The regulations provide that "the referee will take this measure only after consulting the authorities and experts, and if he considers it safe to do so."

Atlético-MG, Fluminense, São Paulo, Botafogo and Flamengo are still alive in Libertadores. Corinthians, Fortaleza, Cruzeiro and Athletico are trying to win the South American title.
