This Monday (21), MC IG announced on his social networks the possible participants of the long-awaited "Let's Go 5" set. The big highlight was the confirmation of American rapper Travis Scott, marking his first collaboration with Brazilian funk. In addition to him, the project will feature the presence of important artists such as MC Ryan SP, MC PH, Manoel Gomes, DJ GBR, MC Hariel, Tuto and MC Poze do Rodo.
In an interview with Correio earlier this year, MC IG had already let Travis' name slip as a strong possibility for the set. “I think I can give a spoiler for Let's Go. Travis Scott is one of the most popular names for the project to grow in 2024”, revealed the MC.
ORIGIN OF THE "LET'S GO" PROJECT AND ITS SUCCESS IN BRAZIL< /b>
Created during the pandemic, the "Let's Go" project quickly stood out on the music scene. The idea came from the collaboration between MC IG, DJ GBR and MC Ryan SP, where each artist composed and recorded their part of the song separately, resulting in a unique montage with different melodies and styles. The fourth edition of the project reached the top of the charts on Spotify Brazil and remained in first place for consecutive weeks, consolidating its success.
With "Let's Go 5", MC IG seeks to repeat and expand this success, bringing for the first time an international star like Travis Scott, which promises to attract even more attention to Brazilian funk.
MC IG AND TRAVIS SCOTT: UNIÃO INTERNATIONAL FUNK AND RAP
MC IG is one of the main names in funk today, consolidating his career in 2023 with hits that took him to the top of the charts. The inclusion of Travis Scott, known worldwide for his innovative rap productions and striking performances, further raises the level of expectation surrounding "Let's Go 5".
Travis, by the way, has already shown sympathy for Brazil at other times. In August this year, during a closing show of his tour in the United States, the rapper took to the stage in Chicago wearing a Flamengo shirt from 1999, which generated great repercussion among Brazilian fans.

Oruam turned himself in to the police last Tuesday (22) after having an arrest warrant issued by the Court. Thus, this Wednesday (23), the rapper's fiancée, Fernanda Valença, spoke on her Instagram about the reaction of her father-in-law, Marcinho VP. The influencer highlighted that the singer's father "is not happy" with the indictment.
Oruam's bride talks about Marcinho VP's opinion: "Contrary to what many people think, my father-in-law is not happy about any of this news."
She continued: "He and my mother-in-law fought tirelessly throughout their lives for their children to change the family's destiny. However, this never stopped the constant psychological torments they faced over time ," she wrote in an excerpt.
