“First of all: Kevin is my friend. We are talking all the time, we talk every day, but every day. Sunday had my birthday party here at my house and Kevin was here. Saturday I had a birthday party and a ball for Dennis in São Paulo, Kevin was there with me. So, like, he's a guy that I admire a lot, that I praise all the time because he's a genius. Kevin is a genius,” he began.
According to the DJ, he fought for Kevin's rights.
“And I fought, all the time. I'm fighting, I'm saying: 'It's not right, it's not right'. But, guys, I have a record company, I have people I trust to take care of and manage any kind of thing. Even more a clip recording, a world release. It is a very big thing that we have to be careful about”, he pointed out.
On the allegations that Dennis does not respect artists in the funk scene, the DJ clarifies:
“I am 27 years ago in funk, doing my job, making my songs. I respect everyone, I also understand that one of Kevin's managers was nervous and ended up blaming me for something I wasn't to blame for, you know? Because, really, they told the record company that the cut of the clip was not approved and even so, it went up. Folks, it wasn't even on my channel”, he said. style="display: flex; max-width: 550px; width: 100%; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
