The internet user left a comment about the fact that the Flamengo fan had not lost so much weight, even after having bariatric surgery. The singer explained - in a mocking tone - what the procedure she underwent consisted of.
"She hasn't lost weight yet", pointed out the woman with a private comment (on Instagram's Direct Messenger). "Yes, ignorant. Bariatric is not lipo. Go read about it instead of talking nonsense. It's useless, right? That's it," said the singer. Indeed, there is a big difference between the two procedures mentioned by Jordana. While one aims to remove fat, the other is a restructuring of the patient's stomach.
It was the second surgery that Jojo had, that is, a bariatric surgery. Even though the changes from a stomach reduction are not as evident to the naked eye, especially when compared to liposuction, the person's main objective is to lose weight. This is the case for Jojo, who has been trying to change her lifestyle and body for months.
The woman who was considered 'ignorant' even tried to get rid of the situation. "I thought I had sent it to my friend who also did it, but I sent it to you. It was wrong, it was bad. But congratulations on the initiative. I didn't comment as a critic", the funk singer tried to justify. Jojo, however, didn't believe it: "The worst habit of human beings is extreme ignorance, people inform themselves on any subject so as not to be embarrassed."
Jojo had the surgery on August 8th. The 26-year-old funk singer has been dealing with obesity for years, but in recent months she revealed to the public her desire to lose weight. She consistently posts about her diet and exercise routine. Furthermore, she wants to lose weight in a healthy way, something she admits she doesn't have much of. According to herself, she doesn't want "to have a pregnancy where she can't go to the mall to buy the things she likes." At her current weight, Jordana would still not have a 100% healthy pregnancy, which is what she wants to have."

The artist said that she received the new diagnosis during routine examinations and that she began chemotherapy treatment immediately. She was admitted to Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in São Paulo.

This Wednesday, September 11, the artist shared with her followers on social media that she was released to resume some training and enjoy the sun.
In a series of videos published on Instagram Stories, Jojo revealed your happiness upon receiving medical authorization. "I'm free to train, just from the waist down. I'm free to get a tan. I can't believe it. Let me. I want to fly," said the singer, showing enthusiasm with the progress of her recovery.
Jojo Todynho had already been adopting a healthier routine before the procedure, focusing on a balanced diet and training at the gym. The singer underwent bariatric surgery in August 2023, which contributed to losing more than 60 kilos. The entire weight loss process was monitored by a team of health professionals.
Despite the recent surgery, Jojo is already thinking about carrying out new "repair" procedures.
