There are absurdities that we sometimes think are over in football, but in the end, they are there, to our disappointment. In this sense, Coach Titereported that he was hit by spit from Palmeiras fans. After the game against Alviverde for the Brasileirão, the coach took advantage of the press conference space to vent about what had happened.

After questions from journalists, Tite asked to remain in the press room and criticized the stance of some Palmeiras fans. The coach even reported that at one point he had to clean his head due to spit hitting him.

“I know my activity as a coach is quite exposed. I have to put up with all the insults that come from outside and it's not from Palmeiras fans, they come from some people”, began the coach.

“The insults are from the game, but spitting is very ugly. Having to stop and clear my head is really ugly. I was here, I have a very beautiful stage and I am proud here. Our work here was worthy, it saved Palmeiras from relegation at that stage. I know that, I have it engraved in my memory”, continued the red-black commander.

“But this person, they are not worthy to be representatives of a series of boys who were there next door. A lot of people think that anything goes in football, but that's not the case”, he concluded.

Palmeiras x Flamengo are tied

On the field, Palmeiras and Flamengo were tied 0-0. In the game at Allianz Parque, for the third round of the Brasileirão, the teams were unable to open the scoring and added one point each. Now, both turn their attention to Libertadores.

The first half of the Brazilian Championship has come to an end, and with that, some highlights need to be remembered. One of them is Luiz Araújo, Flamengo's winger, who had a great first round. Proof of this is that shirt number 7 received the highest score among all players in the position.

With a strong presence on the right side of the field, Luiz Araújo received the highest score on the portal 'Sofascore',7.35, among everyone in the Brazilian Championship. This is because the number 7 played all 18 games with Mais Querido, where he scored three goals and recorded four assists, being the second biggest assistant in the tournament, behind his teammate, Pedro.

It is also worth mentioning that, needing 164 minutes on average to participate in goals in the Brasileirão, Luiz Araújo is the leader in big chances created , with eight. Finally, Flamengo's winger still has a 69% success rate in attempted dribbles.

Back to Flamengo

Aiming for the clash against Atlético-GO This Sunday (28), Flamengo only trains on Saturday for Tite to decide who the starting team will be. This is because the athletes who started playing against Vitória only carried out regenerative work in the gym this Friday (26) and were not on the Ninho do Urubu fields.

Despite the short time, Tite had two important comebacks: Pulgar and Wesley. The midfielder had missed the last round due to gastroenteritis, while the full-back had problems with his left thigh.

Bruno Henrique, on the other hand, is still recovering from the injury he suffered to his right ankle. Undergoing more conservative treatment due to the previous problems he faced, the number 27 has not even started the transition phase to the pitch and is out of the duel on Sunday (28).

Flamengo's probable lineup: Rossi, Varela (Wesley), Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira and Viña; Allan (Pulgar), De la Cruz, Arrascaeta and Gerson; Cebolinha and Pedro.

Flamengo beat Criciúma 2-1, this Saturday, at Mané Garrincha, in a match valid for the 18th round of the Brazilian Championship. In the confrontation, coach Tite's team had to chase the score again and turn the result around during the second stage. After the match, the coach spoke about Gabigol's importance in Fla's squad, as it was the number 99 who scored the winning goal in Brasília.

“It's important for everyone in the squad. A whole group mobilized. Every replacement brought something new. I will never be a guy, who will always be in the fullness of my joy. Because 11 enter and I look at other athletes who could enter, but are not participating. I respect all professionals. This makes the group stronger. Flamengo is above everyone”, Tite.

The coach, despite not talking, preferred to talk about the team's relationship with the Brasiliense fans:

“It's only our second game here . So, we don't have this dimension. Everywhere we've been with Flamengo, in the northeast for example, and now once again in Brasília, we have a crowd supporting us in a full stadium. We feel at home”, began Cleber Xavier.

“Wherever the fans go, they embrace”, concluded Tite.
