In the last transfer window, the forward Gabriel Jesus, currently at Arsenal, has been heavily linked with a possible return to Brazil. His name was speculated at Palmeiras, the club for which he was revealed and which intended to count on the player to reinforce their squad in the 2025 Super World Cup. However, a signing of such magnitude seems out of reach for the São Paulo club at the moment.

At the same time, Mengão also showed interest in Gabriel Jesus. According to information released by the FLAZOEIRO channel, the CRF is looking for a powerful striker to replace Gabigol, whose possible departure drives the need to find an impactful name for the 2025 season.

DIFFICULTIES FOR A POSSIBLE AGREEMENT

The arrival of Gabriel Jesus to Mais Querido, however, it would not be an easy negotiation. The striker remains on the rise in European football and has recently been linked to clubs such as Newcastle and Atlético de Madrid. Furthermore, its appreciation in the international market represents a considerable challenge for any interested Brazilian team.

Flamengo remains attentive to market opportunities, seeking reinforcements that will maintain the team's level of competitiveness in the coming seasons. With Gabigol's possible departure, finding a suitable replacement is a priority.
