Botafogo beat Internacional 4-0 this Sunday (11), at Engenhão, in the eighth round of the Brazilian Championship . With goals from Igor Jesus , Artur , Cuiabano and Alex Telles , the Rio de Janeiro team achieved an impressive victory that took them to eighth place in the table and increased the team's morale for the classic against Flamengo , next Sunday (18), at 6:30 pm, at Maracanã .
The black and white team was efficient in finishing. At 8 minutes into the first half, Igor Jesus opened the scoring after a play by Jeffinho . In the goalless draw between Flamengo and Cruzeiro , last Thursday (02), striker Gabigol experienced a special reunion with the red-black fans at Maracanã . Even with few minutes on the field, the former Fla player relived memorable moments of his time at the club.
