0The agreement is part of a contract with a total value of R$26 million with Ambev, owner of the Zé Delivery brand. The contract also provides for sponsored programming on Fla TV and incentive funding for Flamengo's Olympic sports.
Partnerships were also renewed so that the sale of chopps and beers in bars and restaurants at Flamengo's headquarters is exclusive to Ambev and Zé Delivery offers cashback coupons for monthly fees for the Flamengo fan membership program.
The first installment of the sponsorship contract, of R$9.1 million, will be paid on May 1st. Of the R$26 million, R$11 million refers to advertising in the media – R$5.5 million per season. As a result, the value guaranteed for Flamengo's uniform alone exceeds R$220 million in 2024.
The value could reach R$240 million in the coming days if Flamengo manages to renew the contract with BRB, which expires at the end of March. Marketing's goal is to raise another R$19 million by the end of the year with the bank's sponsorship.
Flamengo proposed dividing the partnership with the bank into three contracts: one for sponsorship, one for bank maintenance BRB NationFla and one for the use of BRB banking services by Flamengo. Marketing is racing against time to finalize the three agreements and take them to a vote in the Council this week, before the end of the current contract.
