Flamengo's highlight in recent seasons, Arrascaeta is just a few steps away from becoming even more part of the club's history. After scoring twice in the rout against Boavista, the Uruguayan was just 10 goals away from taking over as the club's top scorer for foreign players.
The player adds to the total 65 goals with the Sacred Mantle during the last five years. The brand has already made the number 14 surpass great names in the club's history, such as Petovic, Guerrero, Valido and Fritz Engel. At the front, there are only Benítez (75) and Doval (94).
Until the end of last season, Arrascaeta had an average of 12.5 goals per season. The year with the highest scorer was 2019, when he scored 18 times. The year more modest was that of 2021, when the midfielder found the net on just 9 occasions.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm.
