Marcos Braz and Bruno Spindel are traveling through Europe together. Flamengo's vice-president and president of the football department are not on vacation. In fact, the 'European tour' is exclusively so that they can negotiate with different teams regarding their players, looking for those who are the best fit to reinforce Mais Querido. Check out some of his goals:

MATÍAS VIÑA - ROMA

The left-back is one of Tite's requests for his squad and this wish is already fulfilled. The player who was defending Sassuolo (ITA) has already completed his transfer to Flamengo and must sign a contract for five years, until the end of 2028.

After a long negotiation, it was possible to close the treaty , in recent days, with the representatives going to Rome, Italy, to visit the Roma board, which is the club that held the star's economic rights. The conversations started over the phone and ended up getting cold. They even managed to reduce the offer, paying less than expected for the Uruguayan.

Initially, the Italians were adamant, asking for 10 million euros (R$53.3 million), while Flamengo had offered 6 million euros (R$32.1 million). After many conversations, both parties had to give in, reaching an agreement worth 8 million euros (R$42.8 million), plus 1 million euros (R$5.3 million) in bonuses per title: 50% for the Brazilian and 50% for the Libertadores.

LUIZ HENRIQUE - REAL BETIS

While Matías Viña's case with Roma was a success, this does not seem to be the case with Flamengo's negotiation with Real Betis (ESP) for Brazilian Luiz Henrique. Braz and Spindel also spent time in Seville, Spain, with the idea that they would be able to arrange the loan, with a mandatory purchase clause.

However, arriving in Andalusia, the representatives were faced with the news that the Spanish did not wish to loan the 23-year-old star but wanted to sell him. And the value is not low. They are asking for 18 million euros (almost R$98 million, at the current price).

Even with the departure of the directors, the Betis board was not convinced and, even though Fla did not give up, they intend to stretch the rope until the last days of the window. The player's staff welcomes his return to Brazil, but maintains his stay in Europe as a preference.

AL-MUSRATI - BRAGA

Another negotiation that, apparently , is more positive for the Rubro-negro side is that of the Libyan Al-Musrati. The directors of Mais Querido met with António Salvador, president of Braga, recently, to talk about Al-Musrati.

The conversations took place at a dinner, at Restaurante Arcoense, in Portugal, as can be seen on the networks of the establishment, where they shared a photograph of the three representatives together. It was pointed out by the Brazilian press that Braga should agree to release the midfielder on a season-long loan, with an option to purchase.

While In Brazil, Flamengo continues to try to sign Léo Ortiz. Bragantino is willing to reduce the price required to purchase the defender. The value, which was previously 12 million euros (around 65 million reais, at current prices), was reduced to 10 million euros (R$54 million). However, Flamengo still wants to pay less.

On the way back, the Bolivian team even won by a score of 1-0, however, it was not enough to take away the classification of Diego Aguirre's men.

Before the game against Flamengo, Peñarol played in the Championship Uruguayan. On Saturday (14), Rubro-Negro's opponent beat Rampla (URU), by a score of 4 to 0. Given this situation, they remained undefeated in the national tournament.

Last Tuesday, the candidate for re-election for mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, denied the journalist Ancelmo Gois, from Globo. In a post on Instagram, the mayor informed that the city hall will be responsible for removing the megastructure on the gas meter site, different from what was reported. Furthermore, he guaranteed that Flamengo will have its new stadium, with the best conditions and security.

The news published by Ancelmo informs that Flamengo would have to pay R$100 million to remove a large gas structure present on land acquired by the club, which is owned by CEG and CEG-Rio, which are companies that are part of the gas concessionaire Naturgy.

According to the article, the companies were informed that Flamengo is the responsible for bearing the expenses, as provided for in one of the annexes to the land purchase and transfer contract. The clause, however, does not have a specified limit.

Eduardo Paes guarantees that the removal is the responsibility of Rio's city hall.

Paes stated that the values for the transfer of the structure are different from what was pointed out in the article by Ancelmo Gois. Furthermore, it exempted Flamengo from any responsibility, and that the city hall has been planning to remove it for years.

“They are making me defend @flamengo more than I would like: let it be clear that this is not the The cost of this transfer and when it happens will be the responsibility of the city of Rio, which knows that this structure cannot be in an area that is already receiving so many residential buildings. It's been in our plans for a long time! Flamengo will have its new stadium there in the gasometer with all the quality and safety that the region demands and deserves. Period!”, published the mayor.

Defender Al Musrati, who was targeted by Flamengo in the market, signed a permanent contract in Turkey. Besiktas confirmed an agreement with Braga to buy the player's economic rights. According to the Turks, the transfer is worth around 11 million euros, around R$58 million. His contract with Besiktas runs until mid-2027.

Initially, the player had been loaned by the Portuguese. Born in Libya, Al Musrati made his debut for the Turks yesterday against Kayserispor, a goalless draw. The midfielder was speculated at Flamengo in the event of the sale of Thiago Maia. With the uncertainty of Maia's negotiations with Corinthians and Inter, the deal with the ex-Braga player cooled down.

Recently, Rubro-Negro's top management traveled to Europe to negotiate with the player, the value of a possible transfer was around R$64 million, a value well above normal, but Tite was betting a lot on player, who has a physical strength that stands out among the others and a great quality in passing the ball.

If Al-Musrati came to Mais Querido, he would arrive at Flamengo to compete for position with the Chilean , starter Erick Pulgar, who with Tite's arrival at Rubro-Negro, ended up establishing himself as the team's starter, and plays practically the 90 minutes of all matches.

It is worth remembering that the signing of another midfielder - after the arrival of Nicolás de la Cruz to the squad - was not essential, but it is always good for Fla to have options up its sleeve. There are still two players left to reinforce the squad, if the board is to follow the objectives it set at the beginning of this year: a defender and a right winger.
