The premiere of the biopic " Nosso Sonho ", which tells the story of Claudinho and Buchecha, took place this Monday (11) at Cine Odeon, in Rio de Janeiro, and left no one indifferent. Emotion took over not only the actors, who openly shared their experiences during filming, but also Buchecha, who opened up with tenderness when talking about his partner, Claudinho, who unfortunately left us in a tragic car accident in 2002.

"He is in every beat of this heart of 50 years here. He will never leave. No one will occupy this space. He really is very special to me, he is an angel in my life", he said.

Under the direction of Eduardo Albergaria and with outstanding performances by Lucas Penteado and Juan Paiva, the film "Our Dream" won a pre-selection, along with five other features, to compete for a place in the prestigious category of International Film at the 2024 Oscars.

This achievement is a vivid testimony to the deep connection between Claudinho and Buchecha and the seventh art. As they already announced in "Coisa de Cinema", in 1999, the musical duo already anticipated that their trajectory would become a cinematic story and that they would reach Hollywood. The film is the realization of this dream and a touching tribute to their journey.

"They are prophecies, small prophecies that we already sang in our songs. And somehow it is happening. Everything worked out favorably. Every dream of ours is happening. I often say that we are two black boys from the favela. It's the dream of the entire community. For a segment that has been so criticized, it has extra importance", comments Buchecha.

Journalist Rachel Sheherazade used her social networks to vent and launch a hint after another edition of Domingo Record. The presenter, who debuted on the network about a month ago, did not hide her dissatisfaction with the criticism regarding the low audience numbers of her attraction.

In a publication, Sheherazade stated that "whoever gets likes on On top of hate, it's not a good thing", suggesting that the same goes for television ratings. The message was perceived as a response to the negative comments that have been circulating since her debut on the Sunday program.

On social media, many internet users understood the presenter's speech as an indirect dig at fellow presenter Celso Portiolli, who runs Domingo Legal on SBT. The talk show is Rachel's main competitor on Sunday afternoons and has maintained a solid second place in ratings, consolidating itself as unbeatable in the time slot.

Sheherazade's statement came shortly after an episode in which she would have mocked her former broadcaster, SBT, where she worked for several years. The gaffe happened precisely on the day of Matheus Ceará's debut in the Sunday magazine, a fact that also generated comments among the public.

DEFEAT IN THE AUDIENCE

Domingo Legal, once again, surpassed Domingo Record with a significant difference. According to the numbers released, Celso Portiolli's program reached the mark of 6 audience points, while Sheherazade's program had an average of around 3.4 points.

The main agenda of the Record edition was the press conference by comedian Matheus Ceará, who visited the new headquarters of the reality show A Fazenda 2024 and revealed some of the cast, but still failed to attract the necessary attention to beat the competition.

Planet Hemp's lead singer, Marcelo D2, expressed criticism of the ostentatious theme present in trap lyrics, during a press conference at Rock in Rio 2024. The singer, who took to the stage with Planet Hemp last Sunday ( 15/9) and will return to the festival on Saturday (21/9) with a rap project, stated that the excessive appreciation of luxury and success in music of the genre can be a "trap" for young artists.

< Marcelo D2 was emphatic in his opinion about the recurring theme in trap: "I think it's all shit. This movement nowadays among younger kids, I think there's something that bothers me a little in this new generation, which is ostentation , I think it's a f*cked up trap." The musician warned that the reality of most favelas is still far from what is portrayed in the lyrics, emphasizing that "the favela has not won, it is still starving, without basic sanitation, without health."
CONTEXTUALIZATION AT ROCK IN RIO

The first day of Rock in Rio this year was dominated by trap, with performances by Brazilian artists such as Orochi, Oruam and Chefin, as well as American rapper Travis Scott. Trap has been gaining more and more space on streaming platforms, often highlighting themes related to luxury and success. However, for Marcelo D2, as long as favelas continue to face challenges such as lack of infrastructure and essential services, the victory speech will be superficial.

IMPORTANCE OF THE COLLECTIVE

D2 also mentioned rapper Emicida as an example of a more collective and less individualistic vision. "The street is us, it's not me", stated D2, reinforcing the idea that the community's true victory will come when all its members benefit, and not just a few. The musician highlighted that individual success does not represent a structural change in the living conditions of the majority.

The remains of former singer Claudinho, a duo from Buchecha, disappeared from the tomb where he was buried. The funk singer's body was buried in the Memorial do Carmo cemetery, in the north of Rio de Janeiro, in a tomb perpetuated for the artist.

According to information from columnist Alessandro Lo-Bianco, upon discovering his disappearance, the singer's widow , Vanessa Alves, took legal action. This is because the site administration removed Claudinho's ossuary from the tomb, without the family's knowledge and consent.

Vanessa found out that they had changed the name of the person buried in the tomb through a video on YouTube , from a fan who went to visit the grave. When she saw the images, she realized that it was another person buried in Claudinho's place.

At the time of Claudinho's death, the record label Universal Music, which managed the duo's career, made the space available, donating -o to the singer's relatives. However, when she questioned what had happened, Vanessa was shocked.

“They informed me that they carried out the exhumation after trying to contact the family by telegram. (…) Be very sad. As it is a perpetual deposit, they should not open it”, he said.

Now, the case will be investigated by the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice, as the space was clandestinely sold to another family in 2021 and another body occupied the place where Claudinho's remains should have been.
