RAFINHA CRITICIZES GABIGOL'S POSTURE AFTER THE TITLE
In an interview with the Denílson Show Podcast, Rafinha spoke openly about Gabriel's reaction after the match that won the title. "From the bottom of my heart, I was sad about what happened, with Gabi too, how he reacted after the game. I have enormous affection for him, but he can't go out the back door. What he did for Flamengo is historic, and leaving the club like this is bad for football and , mainly, for him", he declared.
Rafinha reinforced that the moment chosen by the attacker to make his outburst was not the most appropriate. "Knowing Gabriel, I knew he was going to say that, but not there, on the field, right after the title. He is an enlightened, decisive and top scorer player. He has his problems off the field, but he has always been a big name in decisions", highlighted the winger.
The former red-black player also highlighted that, if he had been on the field, he would have tried to intervene to prevent the situation from worsening. "If I were there, I would be the first to hold Gabigol", he stated, regretting how the whole situation unfolded.

Coach Eduardo Domínguez tested a more conservative formation, including an extra defensive midfielder in midfield, as a strategy to contain Flamengo's attacks.
