The Paris Olympics are close to starting and the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) released this Friday (7) Team Brazil's uniforms for the competition. With Jade Barbosa and Rafaela Silva, athletes from Flamengo, the federation released the official images of customized pants and jackets. THE UNIFORM

The jacket is predominantly blue navy and in a zipper model. On the left side of the chest there is the logo of Team Brasil, and on the right side of Peak, the company that supplies sports equipment. The right sleeve also has an Olympic Games patch.

The pants are predominantly yellow, with Team Brasil patches on the right leg, and Peak on the left leg. The sides have a black stripe on each side. The COB also released the uniforms that will be used in training and in the Olympic Village. There is the option of a t-shirt and shorts, in a navy blue set with yellow details. And there are options that mix the official uniform, with a blue shirt and yellow pants, or a black blouse.

FLAMENGO WELL REPRESENTED AT THE OLYMPIAS

Mais Querido will be very well represented at the Paris Olympics. This is because the majority of athletes classified for the competition are from Team Flamengo, category of other Rubro-Negro sports. So Jade Barbosa and Rafaela Silva are just two of the athletes who will represent Mengão.

The Brazilian women's football team debuted with victory at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This Thursday, Brazil beat Nigeria 1-0, in Bordeaux, with a goal from Gabi Nunes, completing a good pass by Marta.

The goal scored by Gabi Nunes was the attacker's fifth for the Brazilian team. Shortly before the score was opened, Rainha Marta found the net, but the goal was canceled by the referee due to an offside. Overall, Arthur Elias' Brazil maintained an offensive posture and control of the game after taking the lead. Nigeria offered little danger to the goal defended by Lorena.

Summary

When the ball rolled, nervousness was the team's main factor in the first minutes. Using missed passes and intercepted direct calls, Brazil was initially unable to trouble the Nigerian team. Without control of the match, the Canarian team suffered from quick departures from their opponents. So, in the 15th minute, goalkeeper Lorena saved the team by defending a one-on-one shot with Chinwendu Ihezuo.

After the initial tension, it was Brazil's turn to take control of the game. At 35 minutes, Antonia found Marta, who converted, but saw her goal disallowed due to the assistant's offside. But soon after, it was the Queen's turn to find a perfect pass for Gabi Nunes, who finished strongly and filled the net to put the Brazilian team ahead.

What now?

In the second stage, the team led by Arthur Elias kept the situation under control. Counting on Lorena's safe defenses, the team that won the silver medal in 2004 and 2008 confirmed its success.

With the triumph, Brazil takes second place in Group C, tied on points with Spain. In the next round, the team will face Japan, while Nigeria will face Spain.
