Although it has not been officially announced, Léo Ortiz arrived in Rio de Janeiro this Tuesday (5) and has already given an interview as a Flamengo player. Arriving at Mengão with the status to fight for a place in the starting team, the defender will certainly improve his performance against Fluminense, Vasco and Botafogo. After all, the defender was not very happy against Rubro-Negro's rivals.

Léo will undergo exams this Tuesday (5) and, if approved, will sign a contract with Mengão. Thus, his debut could be precisely in a classic against Fluminense, this Saturday (9), valid for the first game of the Carioca semi-finals.

Flamengo's rival that Léo Ortiz faced the most throughout his career, in fact, It's precisely Fluminense. There were nine games, with three wins, three draws and three defeats, resulting in a 44% success rate. So, if you take the field against your rival in the Carioca Championship, you will have your first chance to improve your rating.

Next comes Botafogo. Léo faced the black and white team seven times and managed just one victory, in 2020. In total, he has a success rate of just 28% with one victory, three draws and three defeats. However, unlike Fluminense, Léo will not have the chance to face his rival in the knockout stage of Estadual, which the rival did not qualify for.

Finally, Léo faced Vasco six times and, just like against Fluminense, has a tied record. There were two wins, two draws and two defeats (44% success rate). Known as a top-scoring defender, the new red-and-black reinforcement has one goal against his rivals. Goal scored against Vasco, in the last round of Brasileirão 2023, which almost resulted in Cruzmaltino's relegation. But Red Bull Bragantino suffered an upset.
