Activated in the second half of the match between Juventude and Flamengo, for the Brasileirão Série A, Gabigol should not stay at the Rio club for next season. During the program Canelada, on Rádio Jovem Pan, former player Vampeta ratified that Tite is not in love with the number 99 and his contract is unlikely to be renewed.
It is worth remembering that Gabriel Barbosa's contract ends in December this year. After many meetings between the parties, the conversations were stopped and could be restarted at the end of the year, but everything suggests that the cycle in Rubro-Negro is close to the end.
“He knows he won't play more. Mauro Beting told me that Tite doesn't like Gabigol, he told me. I've been saying here for a long time that Tite doesn't like Gabigol. Every goal Pedro scores makes it further away from renewing his contract. Do you really think that Flamengo will want to renew?”, asked Vampeta.
“Tite went to visit Gabigol at his house and I said it was a milonga. Do you think Gabigol will want anything else? He knows that Tite doesn't like him”, he added.
Controversies off the field and a possible punishment for alleged fraud in the anti-doping test also keep Gabigol away from Flamengo. According to the newspaper O Dia, president Rodolfo Landim says behind the scenes that he is against the 27-year-old player remaining. On the other hand, the vice-president of football, Marcos Braz, tries to convince the red-black president to change his mind.

FLAMENGO CAN PROFIT FROM FUTURE SALE
Although Caio left for Celta Vigo for free, Flamengo could still profit from a future sale of the young goalkeeper. The goalkeeper arrives at the Spanish club to play initially in the B team , thus, he will play in the Spanish third division.
Thus, through his Instagram, Caio Barone published an "open letter" and spoke about the privilege of being able to play for Flamengo, in addition to remembering the titles won with the Manto Sagrado at the base.
"After seven years wearing this shirt, the time has come to say goodbye to Flamengo. These were important years in my career and in my life. I had the privilege of winning titles, making friends, and experiencing moments I will never forget ," he says.
