Before beating São Paulo this Wednesday (17), Flamengo had a complicated 2-1 victory over Atlético-GO, at Serra Dourada (GO), last Sunday (14). During a debate on the portal UOL Esporte, columnist Renato Maurício Prado criticized coach Tite's stance in revolting with the expulsion of his professional colleague, Jair Ventura, during the match.

Flamengo beat Bahia 1-0 this Saturday (10), in the eighth round of the Brazilian Championship. The only goal of the match was scored by Arrascaeta , who is going through an enlightened phase and remains the red-black top scorer in 2025. The Uruguayan was the protagonist of the night and drew effusive praise from the Nation on social media.

With the goal against Bahia, Arrascaeta reached seven goals in the Brasileirão and is now the top scorer . He is followed by Vegetti , with five. In addition, the Uruguayan is also among the top waiters in the competition, with three assists , behind only Alan Patrick , from Internacional.

Flamengo has officially notified Estrela da Amadora , from Portugal , demanding R$34 million in outstanding amounts related to the transfers of players André and Igor Jesus . The Portuguese club has ten days to regularize the situation before a new complaint is formalized with FIFA .
OPEN VALUES AND NEW SALES
In the initial negotiation, Estrela signed André for 500 thousand euros and Igor Jesus for 2 million euros , totaling, at the time, around R$ 15.3 million. However, neither installment was paid. Later, both athletes were negotiated again: André went to Rio Ave for 2.2 million euros (R$ 13.6 million), and Igor Jesus was sold to Los Angeles FC for 4 million euros (R$ 25 million).
Therefore, in addition to charging the original amount, Flamengo demands payment of the resale percentages to which it is entitled — 40% on André and 50% on Igor Jesus. The total amount also includes monthly interest of 1% , correction by the IPCA and a contractual fine of 5% , equivalent to R$ 1.7 million.
APPELLANT DEFENDANT
Estrela da Amadora has already been sued by Flamengo and sentenced on two occasions in the first disputes involving these same athletes. If it does not comply with the new deadline, the Portuguese club may again suffer sanctions from FIFA, such as the dreaded transfer ban , which prevents the registration of new players.

Flamengo is the new leader of the Brazilian Championship — at least provisionally. On Saturday night (10), Rubro-Negro beat Bahia 1-0 at Maracanã , overtook Bragantino and now awaits the result of the classic between Palmeiras and São Paulo , this Sunday (11), to know if it remains at the top at the end of the 8th round.
