The good phase that Flamengo is experiencing under the command of Tite is exciting the red-black board. According to the newspaper O Globo, the current management has already signaled to the coach that the club is interested in renewing his contract, which ends in December 2024. Even if there is an election at the end of the year, the tendency is for the situation to defeat the opposition in politics.

Internally, Rodolfo Landim's peers understand that the club was a winner under the president's administration, but made mistakes in some changes in technical command. Another point that bothered Landim in his self-analysis was the fact that several coaches had high termination fines, such as Domènec Torrent, Vitor Pereira and Jorge Sampaoli.

As stated by O Globo, Flamengo wants to be inspired by long-term work carried out by Palmeiras and Fluminense. When Abel Ferreira arrived at Allianz Parque, Mengão's coach was Domènec Torrent, for example. Fernando Diniz arrived at Laranjeiras in 2022, a period in which Rubro-Negro still had the Portuguese Paulo Sousa.

Rodolfo Landim took over Flamengo in the 2019 season. Since then, the club has had to technical names such as Abel Braga, Jorge Jesus, Domènec Torrent, Rogério Ceni, Renato Gaúcho, Paulo Sousa, Dorival Júnior, Vitor Pereira, Jorge Sampaoli and now Tite. Since 2011, with Vanderlei Luxemburgo, Flamengo has not started and ended a year with the same coach. It's a tough mission for Landim in his final year.

TITE'S PERFORMANCE

It's worth remembering that Tite recently beat jorge Jesus' performance, at the beginning of his time at Flamengo. The former Brazilian national team played 20 games for Flamengo and achieved a success rate of 73.3%. Meanwhile, Jorge Jesus achieved 70% in the same period. In other words, the current coach of Clube da Gávea surpassed the Portuguese's performance at the beginning of his work.

Carlinhos' performance in the last classic between Flamengoand Vasco, played on Sunday, has generated a wave of criticism and questions from the red and black fans. The striker, who entered the field in the 18th minute of the second half, replacing Bruno Henrique, played a discreet role and ended up failing to help the team in one of the most decisive moments of the match.

The classic, as always, was a game intense and highly anticipated by both fans, with great weight for the championship table and the morale of the teams. However, Carlinhos' entry, which lasted just 27 minutes, was considered below expectations, especially in a scenario where Flamengo was looking for a victory to distance itself from its rivals.

FLAMENGO HAS A DEFICIENCY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP < /b>

During the 27 minutes he was on the field, Carlinhos barely appeared, failing to influence the game as expected. The player only touched the ball a few times, did not create clear scoring chances and also did not help efficiently in the defensive system. With an apathetic performance, the striker ended up becoming a target of frustration for the fans, who expected more from a player who, at other times, had already demonstrated the potential to be decisive.

The lack of offensive participation was a of the main points raised by critics. In a game that required creativity and boldness to break through the Vasco blockade, Carlinhos was unable to find spaces or impose his presence as a constant threat to the opponent's goal. In classics, where every detail makes a difference, this lack of protagonism weighed even more.

The replacement of Bruno Henrique by Carlinhoswas also a factor that generated discussion. Bruno Henrique, although he was not having a brilliant performance, is a player recognized for his ability to decide games, especially in big confrontations. His departure 18 minutes into the second half was justified by the coaching staff as part of the planning to spare the athlete, who recently returned from injury.

After taking charge of Flamengo, Tite, former coach of the Brazilian national team, made it clear that he is quickly adapting to the club's culture. In recent statements, he highlighted Rubro-Negro's striking characteristic: the incessant search for all possible titles. According to the coach, this spirit of intense competition is something that he not only admires, but is also incorporating into his own work philosophy.

Tite, known for his meticulous and results-focused work, revealed that the Transition to Flamengo involves constant learning, especially in relation to the club's winning mentality. "Flamengo has this culture of fighting for every title. There is no focus on just one competition, the goal is to win everything within reach", he explained.

THE COACH WANTS A COMPETITIVE STYLE

This characteristic is notable in Flamengoin recent years, which has won several important competitions, such as the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Libertadores. Tite, accustomed to pressure and the need for results, states that this mentality is something he is adopting in his day-to-day life at the club. “I see this culture, and this is what we are doing. Flamengo has this requirement, and I am a coach who likes this type of challenge.”

Although Tite has an established career, with successful spells at clubs such as Corinthians and the Brazilian national team, Flamengo represents a new experience for the coach. He is now at the helm of a team that has traditionally had fans calling for victories in every competition they compete in, something he sees as a positive challenge.

"You have to learn every day Even with the experience I have, here I realize that there are very high expectations, but at the same time that's what makes you grow", commented the coach. For him, working at a club that maintains such a high level of demand motivates him to always seek the best.

In the search “Pulso do Torcedor ” carried out by Atlas Intel, coach Tite, from Flamengo, as the second best coach among the clubs in Series A of the Brazilian Championship. Only Abel Ferreira, from Palmeiras, was ahead of the red and black team in the survey carried out by the analysis institute.

The responses pointed to the current two-time Brazilian champion Abel Ferreira as the favorite by 27.9%. Tite, from Flamengo, came in second place, cited by 18.6% of those interviewed. Completing the top-5 are Botafogo coach Artur Jorge, mentioned by 8.1%, and Fernando Seabra, from Cruzeiro, with 7.2%.

Tite was mentioned by 47.5% of fans of Flamengo as the best coach in Brazil - a much lower percentage than the Cruzeirenses' preference for Fernando Seabra (72.6% of Raposa fans voted for him) or Grêmio idol Renato Gaúcho, who was chosen by more than half of the fans from Grêmio (51.1%). The coach with the greatest approval from fans is Argentine Vojvoda, from Fortaleza, chosen by 96.3% of Leão do Pici fans.

The Atlas survey collects information organically during routine internet browsing - on smartphones, tablets, laptops or computers. According to the research institute, this method has two advantages: it addresses several sources of bias and deals with the possible over- or under-representation of demographic groups.
