The nestling, Rodrigo Muniz, continues to impress everyone with his good form playing for Fulham (ING), in the Premier League. This Saturday morning, the team of the former Flamengo faced Brighton and the player was the highlight of the victory, even receiving a standing ovation from the fans. Now, the striker has five goals in the last five games. IMPORTANT GOAL FOR FULHAM

Fulham's victory this Saturday morning (2) was of extreme importance. This is because the English team needed to move away from the relegation zone. Thus, the club faced Brighton, who are in ninth place. In the first half, Rodrigo Muniz won a header in a dispute with the opponent and passed it to Harry Wilson, who opened the scoring.

Soon afterwards, still in the first half, Wilson returned Muniz's favor, and crossed for the striker who headed firmly for the second goal. The player was substituted in the second half and was applauded by the English fans.

Rodrigo Muniz went through a moment of doubts at Fulham, but seems to be managing to get back on track. Just like another Flamengo academy player, João Gomes, the striker is competing for the award for best Premier League player of the month. He is competing with big names such as Saka, from Arsenal, and Phil Foden, from Manchester City.

CALLED UP TO THE BRAZILIAN SELECTION

Even though he is in good form, Rodrigo Muniz was not called up by coach Dorival Júnior for the friendly games against Spain and England. However, his teammate, Andreas Pereira, is among the 26 chosen to represent Amarelinha. João Gomes< /a> and Lucas Paquetá were also called by the commander.

Last Wednesday (4), Flamengo held the seventh edition of the Sangue Rubro-negro campaign, at the Gávea headquarters. Hemorio's partner team was at the Gávea headquarters, from 10am to 3pm, collecting blood in the playground's party room. Athletes, employees and associates were able to donate and make a difference: each bag of blood can save up to four lives.

In addition to encouraging blood donation, the campaign also sought to raise awareness about the importance of this act of generosity and how it can save lives. “The partnership with Flamengo Social Responsibility is very important. More than attracting donors, this action seeks to awaken civic and social sentiment, ensure greater dissemination and demystify fears. It is an extremely educational and important action for maintaining stocks”, declared Dr. Renata de Almeida, a Hemorio doctor present at the action.

Blood donation is essential for health units to continue serving patients undergoing treatments and surgeries. The only way to guarantee the blood supply is through voluntary donations.

To donate blood, you must have an official identification document with photo, original or certified copy; be between 16 and 69 years old; be fed and in good health; weigh more than 50 kg; not be pregnant or breastfeeding. For more information about donating blood, visit www.hemorio.rj.gov.br or call 0800 282 0708. Hemorio is located at Rua Frei Caneca, nº 8, in the center of Rio. Donate blood, donate life!
