21-year-old midfielder arrives at Toca da Raposa II to sign until December 2028; signing was made by the club's CEO, Alexandre Mattos

0Cruzeiro agreed to sign Fabrizio Peralta, a player who also played for Flamengo. The information was initially released by Paraguayan journalist Bruno Pont and confirmed by the report. According to the GOAL portal, the Minas Gerais team will spend US$ 3 million (R$ 16 million at current prices) on the athlete.
The player will arrive at Toca da Raposa II next week to sign with the Minas Gerais club until December 2028. The signing was made by the club's CEO, Alexandre Mattos.
Peralta defended the colors of Cerro Porteño, from Paraguay, and had a contract with the club until December 2026. He had already defended the Flamengo colors between April 2021 and January 2022, without having so much space in the squad.
Fabrizio Peralta played 20 matches for Cerro Porteño in 2024, totaling 1,193 minutes on the field. During the period, he did not find the net but provided three assists. For the Paraguayan national team, including the team that played in the Pre-Olympic, there were seven matches, with 552 minutes on the field and one goal.
At Flamengo, in 2021, the Paraguayan midfielder played 21 matches, all for the team under-20, spent 871 minutes on the field and scored two goals.
Although they agreed to hire Peralta, Cruzeiro is still considering looking for another athlete for the sector. Midfielder Matheus Henrique, who belongs to Sassuolo, in Italy, is also in the sights of the Minas Gerais club.
There was a meeting with the player's staff, who stood out for Grêmio in Brazilian football, to discuss the possible arrival at Toca da Raposa II. The athlete gave a positive signal for an agreement, but the approval of the Italian club still remains, which asked for €6 million (R$34.55 million in the quote) in previous transfer windows for the athlete.

Thus, in the last five Superligas, the Belo Horizonte team won four titles and one runner-up. In the squad, there are athletes who have played for the Brazilian team, such as Thaísa, Olympic champion and bronze medalist in this year's edition, in Paris.
SuperligaThe dates of the Women's Super League have not yet been announced. However, there is an expectation that the competition will start in October. In total, 12 teams will play the tournament, in a round-robin system, with the eight best qualifying for the quarter-finals.
In the last edition, after all, Flamengo was eliminated by Praia Clube in the semi-final . Therefore, the goal for 2024/25 is to reach the decision and repeat the title won in 2000/01, when Rubro-Negro beat Vasco, in a historic decision at the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho.

0FIFA will announce the venues for the 2025 Super Club World Cup this Saturday (28). The announcement will be made during the Global Citizen Festival. The event will be held in Central Park, New York. FIFA did not detail how many cities and stadiums will host the 2025 edition. This will be the first time that the tournament will feature 32 teams.
The Super World Cup will be held between June 15 and July 13, 2025 The competition already has 30 qualified teams, with three Brazilians among them: Palmeiras, Flamengo and Fluminense. Brazil may have one more representative. This is because Atlético-MG and Botafogo are fighting for the last South American place in the competition — the Libertadores title gives them the place. Peñarol [if they win the Libertadores] and Olímpia [if River wins the Libertadores] are the other teams in the running.
The places are divided into: 12 for Europe, six for South America, four for Asia, Africa and North, Central America and the Caribbean, one for Oceania and one for the host country.
In addition to the remaining MLS spot, which has not yet defined its representative, the other available entry belongs to South America. It is destined for the champion of the edition of 2024 of the Libertadores. If River Plate wins the title, it will be transferred to the Conmebol ranking in FIFA and would already have an owner: Olímpia-PAR.

Former Flamengo, Fabrizio Peralta was presented by Cruzeiro on Wednesday (17)
|
0Cruzeiro presented, on Wednesday (17), reinforcement Fabrizio Peralta, 21 years old. The Paraguayan midfielder played for Flamengo's youth teams in 2021, on loan from Cerro Porteño (PAR). However, Mengão was not 'enchanted' with the athlete's performance and did not exercise the purchase clause. When giving an interview in Belo Horizonte, the athlete recalled the difficulties he experienced during the period he lived in Rio de Janeiro.
— I think it was more difficult at Flamengo, because I was alone. Nowadays I have the opportunity to be with my father. In a little while I think my mother, my brother, everyone will come. I think it will be calmer on that side. Everyone is with me and happy, that's all that matters to me — said Peralta.
— The first time I played here (in Brazil) helped me a lot to grow in terms of intensity, personal care, recovery, football, dynamics and when I should or shouldn't do things. Things like that, especially the intensity — added the midfielder.
Fabrizio Peralta stayed at Flamengo from March 2021 to January 2022, playing 21 games and two goals for the under-20 team. However, Rubro-Negro preferred not to exercise the purchase option and returned the steering wheel to Cerro Porteño. Upon his return to Paraguay, the athlete established himself in the main team and reached the Seleção, where he competed in the Copa América, held this year.
Cruzeiro signed Peralta for five years and invested R$ 16 million per 60% of economic rights. Furthermore, the contract has a clause for the miners to exercise the purchase of another 20% for 1.5 million dollars (around R$8 million). The athlete had a contract with Cerro Porteño until 2026.
