Vinícius Júnior, created by Flamengo's academy, has increasingly stood out at Real Madrid. Last Saturday (10), the Rubro Negro jewel gave a performance that left his scorer crying at the end of the match. The star was the author of a goal and two assists in the Spanish team's 4-0 victory over Girona (ESP). Therefore, the Merengues coach, Carlo Ancelotti, surrendered to the former Mais Querido player and considered him one of the best in the world.

“It's Top. When he plays like that and with that attitude, he is the best in the world, in my personal opinion,” said Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti. The Real Madrid commander commented on Vinicius Júnior's departure shortly after the match against Girona, in a press conference. score for Real Madrid six minutes into the first half. However, Vini Jr continued to stand out. At 35', the striker found an assist for Jude Bellingham, who extended the score to 2-0.

After returning from the break, Vinícius Júnior continued to be one of the best on the field for the Spanish team. In the 16th minute, the jewel of the Rubro Negro academy provided an assist for Rodrygo, and the Brazilian closed the scoring for the Merengue team. Joselu even missed a penalty that could have made it 5-0.

"It was certainly one of the best matches of the season. We did everything Mister (Ancelotti) asked. We pressed when we had to press, we lowered the line when it had to go down. That makes the difference. When the whole team wants to, it's very difficult to beat us", commented Vinicius Júnior.

Last Wednesday (4), Flamengo held the seventh edition of the Sangue Rubro-negro campaign, at the Gávea headquarters. Hemorio's partner team was at the Gávea headquarters, from 10am to 3pm, collecting blood in the playground's party room. Athletes, employees and associates were able to donate and make a difference: each bag of blood can save up to four lives.

In addition to encouraging blood donation, the campaign also sought to raise awareness about the importance of this act of generosity and how it can save lives. “The partnership with Flamengo Social Responsibility is very important. More than attracting donors, this action seeks to awaken civic and social sentiment, ensure greater dissemination and demystify fears. It is an extremely educational and important action for maintaining stocks”, declared Dr. Renata de Almeida, a Hemorio doctor present at the action.

Blood donation is essential for health units to continue serving patients undergoing treatments and surgeries. The only way to guarantee the blood supply is through voluntary donations.

To donate blood, you must have an official identification document with photo, original or certified copy; be between 16 and 69 years old; be fed and in good health; weigh more than 50 kg; not be pregnant or breastfeeding. For more information about donating blood, visit www.hemorio.rj.gov.br or call 0800 282 0708. Hemorio is located at Rua Frei Caneca, nº 8, in the center of Rio. Donate blood, donate life!

Last Monday night (2), Portugal's transfer window closed. Thus, taking advantage of the last few hours, Leixões agreed to sign another player revealed by Flamengo: defender Rafael Santos, who played for Santa Clara (POR).

After signing with Gabriel Noga and Werton, both revealed at Flamengo's base, Leixões concluded the signing of Rafael Santos, 26 years old, permanently. Therefore, the team now has three former Mais Querido athletes.

RAFAEL'S HISTORY

Rafael joined Mais Querido in 2018, when he played for the first time as a professional. In 2019, the defender participated in one duel, while in 2020 he played in four games. Despite the short spell, the defender won the 2019 Carioca and the 2020 Brasileirão.

Soon afterwards, Rafael Santos left Mais Querido on loan in 2021 to join Apoel, from Cyprus, where he spent two seasons. Afterwards, the defender signed permanently with Moreirense (POR) before arriving at Santa Clara.

At Santa Clara, Rafael played little. This is because, in his last season, the defender participated in just eight matches. So, with no space in the team, he decided to join Leixões.
