In the midst of a dispute over the management of Maracanã, Vasco took advantage of a note to Ferj complaining about the refereeing of the classic against Fluminense yesterday to once again question the ability of the Fla-Flu duo to manage the stadium.

The idea of Greenleaf, the company that manages the stadium's field, is to have the grass prepared to support the ten games in 33 days, by the end of August.
The main focus will be on the northern part of the field, where it was most worn out. . The company replanted the area and intensified nutrition to handle the demand that is to come. There is a chance that the number of matches will increase to 11, if Vasco x Fluminense is confirmed at Maracanã.
According to GE, Greenleaf internally understands that the pitch has held up well to the marathon of matches in 2024 In previous years, criticism of the state of the Maracanã grass was frequent, especially in winter.
