To gain the coach's trust, the striker needs to regain his best performance, raising questions about the player's future at the club.

0According to Casagrande, the renowned former player and sports commentator, recently made a scathing analysis of the performance of Gabigol, Flamengo's talented striker. In his own words, Casagrande suggested that, to gain coach Tite's trust, Gabigol needs to recover his best performance. This assessment sparked intense debate in sporting circles and among Mengão's passionate fans.
Casagrande's statement is based on the observation that, in recent games, Gabigol appears to have lost focus on his career. The striker, who has already shown himself to be one of Brazil's most promising scorers, has not delivered the performances expected of him. This drop in performance is a cause for concern for Flamengo's fans and technical committee, which aims to keep the club at the top of Brazilian and international football.
Tite, the experienced coach of the Brazilian national team, also has great influence with regard to the formation of the Flamengo squad. Casagrande highlighted that significant changes to the red and black squad could be on the way, and Gabigol could be on the list of players who will be released. This possible decision raises questions about the striker's future at the club that saw him shine and win the hearts of fans across the country.
The relationship between Gabigol and Tite is an important factor to be considered. Tite is known for his pragmatic approach and for prioritizing players who demonstrate consistency and commitment in their performances. Gabigol's lack of focus may have led the coach to question his presence in the team. However, it is important to highlight that Gabigol is a talented and young athlete, with an impressive track record at Flamengo. His contribution to the club, especially in recent achievements, such as the Copa Libertadores, is undeniable. Therefore, the decision to release him, if confirmed, would be a moment of significant change for Flamengo and the player.
Flamengo fans, known for their unwavering support for the team, are divided regarding to this possible change. Many believe that Gabigol has the potential to recover his best performance and continue to be a key player in the squad. However, others fear that his departure is necessary to revitalize the team. Flamengo's board will also play a key role in the final decision. They will have to evaluate not only Gabigol's current performance, but also his commitment to the club and his ability to overcome obstacles. The search for a balance between tradition and renewal is a constant challenge in football.
It is important to remember that changes in the world of sport are inevitable. Players go through ups and downs in their careers, and clubs need to make difficult decisions to maintain their competitiveness. Gabigol, like any athlete, will have to demonstrate his determination and overcome the obstacles that come his way. Ultimately, the uncertainty surrounding Gabigol's future at Flamengo continues to be a topic of fervent debate among fans and sports analysts. Regardless of the outcome, football is an unpredictable journey, and only time will reveal how this story will unfold and what the next chapter will be in Gabigol's career and Flamengo's legacy on the national and international sporting scene.

0Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. Commentator spared no criticism

0Flamengo's performances have divided the opinions of fans and journalists. After Rubro-Negro's 1-1 draw with Vasco, last Sunday (15), former player and commentator Walter Casagrande spared no criticism of the team led by Tite.
— Everything we said of doubt about whether Flamengo will win or not is Flamengo's own responsibility, not because the others are better – only Botafogo, which is the best in the Brazilian Championship and perhaps in South America. But in relation to the other teams, the doubt about Flamengo is because of himself -, he began.
— Not because of the casting, because of the cast. You look and think: ‘This team isn’t going far’. He looks again and sees nothing. Every day you see Flamengo play, it's worse than before. I rule out Flamengo (in the Brazilian Championship) a little. (…) There's no point in playing well and getting a draw at the end -, he concluded, in participation in the program 'Fim de Papo', on UOL.
It is worth noting that Flamengo won just one of the last six games in the Brasileirão. In this period, there were three defeats, two draws and only one positive result. In other words, five points won out of a possible 18. With a draw with Vasco in the 26th round, Rubro-Negro saw Botafogo and Palmeiras beat Corinthians and Criciúma, respectively. In this way, the first two placed in the Brazilian Championship 'stretched' ahead.
Flamengo, however, still has one game less in relation to the first three placed in the national tournament table (Botafogo, Palmeiras and Fortaleza). In short, Tite's men are in the G-4 of the Brasileirão and still have a mathematical chance of winning the title.
In addition, Rubro-Negro is classified in the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil, where they will face Corinthians. Finally, the Libertadores quarterfinals are ahead. This Thursday (19), in fact, the red and black team receives Peñarol (URU), in a duel for the continental competition. The ball rolls at 7pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã
