More than six months after the departure of the red-and-black legend, the name of the former Fla employee for more than 40 years is still alive. Today, the former masseur and iconic figure of Flamengo, Adenir Silva, popularly known as Denir, was officially honored with the approval of Law 8,522. The legislation, which was published in the Official Gazette, provides for Adenir's name to be highlighted on one of Rio de Janeiro's important sports equipment.
Denir, who made history in the world of football abroad from the fields, he has always been a charismatic figure and loved by Flamengo. His dedication to the club, even outside the field, made him a symbol of commitment and passion for the sport. With official recognition, his name will gain a prominent place in the city he loves so much and which has seen him be part of its rich sporting history.
