After terminating his contract with Athletic-MG, the striker revealed by Mengão signs for two and a half years with the Serbian club, which is fighting against relegation in the championship

After ending his contract with Athletic-MG last Friday (19), Lincoln already has a new destination defined. The striker, revealed in the youth categories of Flamengo, was announced this Saturday (20) as reinforcement of FK Spartak Subotica, team of the first division of the Serbian Championship.
The player has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract, valid until the end of 2028. His main mission will be to help the club escape relegation , as Spartak is currently bottom of the table, with just one win and six points from nine matches played.
Lincoln arrived at Athletic-MG in January but failed to establish himself. In recent months, he had been underused, even training at off-peak times, and wasn't part of the coaching staff's plans.
Even so, the striker had some standout moments: he played in 16 matches, scored five goals, and provided three assists. With the Minas Gerais club, he won the Troféu Inconfidência, a tournament for mid-table teams in the Campeonato Mineiro, scoring twice in the final against Uberlândia.
Revealed at Flamengo and considered one of the brightest prospects in the club's youth academy, Lincoln formed a successful partnership with Vinicius Júnior in the youth ranks. Between 2019 and 2020, he was a reserve on Jorge Jesus' historic team , winning two Brazilian Championships, a Libertadores, a Recopa Sudamericana, and a Brazilian Super Cup.
