Flamengo returns to the field this Saturday night (11), at 6:30 pm, in a match against Fluminense, for the 34th round of the Brazilian Championship. The Nation is excited by Rubro Negro's two consecutive victories and tickets have already sold out in advance and Maracanã will receive a large audience. Therefore, Rio City Hall announced a special traffic scheme around the stadium.

To accommodate the event in the best possible way, CET-Rio will close roads around the stadium three hours in advance, at 3:30 pm. The streets: Prof. Eurico Rabello, Avenida Rei Pelé and Avenida Maracanã, for example, will be closed to cars and other vehicles.

According to Rio City Hall, there will be traffic monitoring, and traffic light times will be adjusted to improve the fluidity. Furthermore, as it is a classic with a large public expected, the traffic operation will have 60 agents, nine operational vehicles and 12 motorcycles. Nine panels will be used with messages about closure times and alternative routes.


The closures for the next departure will begin at 3:30 pm and will only end at 10:30 pm. In addition to publicizing the traffic scheme, Rio City Hall also gave other recommendations. CET - Rio advises drivers to avoid the region during this time and use alternative routes.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.

Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco.
